Travel 4 miles in the opposite direction and you’ll find yourself in Alnwick where Harry Potter fans can visit the castle which features in the films. While you’re there, take a trip to the impressive Alnwick Gardens and the picturesque marketplace.

The compact living room/diner with its exposed stone walls, traditional fireplace and comfortable seating provides a cosy space to gather together. Enjoy a morning coffee at the kitchen’s breakfast bar or, for more formal dining, there is a table and seating overlooking the lane.
