We enjoyed our stay very much. The dogs had great fun in the garden which is very long so they had a good run. We especially liked the open plan layout. The cottage is clean and comfortable with enough kitchen equipment anyone would need. We were very grateful and happy with the basket of goodies left for us on our arrival.

I suspect we didn't experience this properly at it's best, though it is a wonderful property. The negative first to get it out of the way since most of this will be positive therafter. There is building work going on directly next door to the property, so if you are booking I'd be sure to contact the property manager directly to confirm whether tRead morehis is still ongoing and if so, plan accordingly. Although the builders are a canny bunch and we noticed them turn their own voices and radio down whilst we were there, they are using power tools, so, well, you can do the math. We were not advised of this in advance, hence why I feel it's necessary to flag here. That all being said, it's a wonderful, well designed property in a great location. It's a five minute drive to some of the most beautiful coastline in the country. The property has modern equipment, but maintains a fantastic feel that harps back to its roots. The decor is quirky and really nicely maintained on the most part. And it feels massive inside, so much bigger than the pictures suggest. There is a nice area outside and, from the perspective of someone with two very small dogs, it is carefully secured for dogs as well. Just note - no poop bags or water bowl provided, don't forget to pack yours for your fur baby. We didn't use the DVD player, but we watched a bit of TV on the free view and took advantage of a kitchen that was easily as well stocked as my own at home. Brilliant. Full fridge and freezer and the modern take on an old style oven is really good, if you're inclined to cook. We enjoyed our stay, even if one day was a little dictated by the work going on next door, which is obviously a shame. Needless to say though, this is a great property with loads of character in a fantastic location. Hide

No problems with the cottage whatsoever, my criticisms come around the booking process. At the final stage 50 is added as a booking fee. Then you have a choice to pay 25 to cover any and all potential damages however this is not refundable so the cost of your holiday has suddenly increased by 75. Alternatively you can pay 200 additional deposit Read morewhich is refundable. The sad part of this is that the refund isnt made until some 10 days plus AFTER you have returned home. As the cottage has to be vacated by 10am on the morning of your last day to allow cleaning etc for the next guests at 16::00 potentially then at this stage it must be known if any damage has occured of no damage then why cant a simple BACS transfer be completed to refund the 200 within the day. Feels like im being taken for a ride here Hide
