  • Exceptionally spacious stone-clad coastal home
  • Courtyard with a BBQ and seating for sunny days
  • Within a mile of the charming working harbour

Property code: OC-551958

A stylish home that sleeps six in comfort, within a mile of the village’s shops (including a well-stocked supermarket), cafes, restaurants, pubs, and its busy working harbour. With multiple entertainment options and Smart TVs in all the rooms, this is the perfect holiday base, whatever the time of year. Visit the magnificent medieval Alnwick Castle, 15 miles, which featured as Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films, and Brancaster Castle in Downton Abbey. Between March and October, take a boat trip to the nearby Farne Islands, Sir David Attenborough’s favourite place to see nature in the UK. Try a round of golf at the Seahouses Golf Club, 1 mile – a traditional links course in a spectacular setting next to the beautiful Annstead Coastal Reserve and its beach of golden sands.

Enter the house through the front door into a small porch, with a hanging rail for coats and somewhere to leave your boots. This leads into the main hallway, with a handy downstairs cloakroom just off it. The large open-plan kitchen/diner and spacious lounge are connected by double glass doors – so whoever is busy in the kitchen won’t feel cut off from the other guests. They are furnished and decorated in a contemporary style, with seating for six in both the lounge and the dining area. A door from the dining area leads out to a utility room for all your laundry needs, and a further door leads outside. Take the stairs from the main hall to the first floor to three bedrooms, each with a Smart TV and a king-size bed that can be split into 2'6'' twins if preferred. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and off the landing, there is a family bathroom.

Outside is the rear courtyard, enclosed by a stone wall and wooden fencing, which boasts a BBQ and garden furniture for al fresco dining. The garden to the front of the property is partly laid with chippings but also features a large, paved driveway with ample parking for two cars.

A beautiful cottage close to Seahouses. We were 2 families and 1 dog. Loads of space and we loved it. Even used the bbq and the PlayStation. 15 minute walk into Seahouses to be aware of but that wasn't an issue for us as we walked around 11 miles one day and 7 the next. Loved Craster to Low Newton walk and the pub there is fantastic. The walk to Read moreSeahouses from there is a little dull. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in Seahouses although we mainly went to the Ship. Quirky inside and a great beer garden as we had some great weather. Would return in the blink of an eye. Hide

The house was fantastic, all the rooms were laid out well and the furniture and equipment in the house was amble, the kitchen was absolutely bursting with utensils etc everything you could want. The welcome hamper was a wonderful surprise and was greatly received! Location was good not far at all to get into seahouses. My son was ratherRead more fond of the PlayStation he wasnt expecting and we enjoyed playing the games that were provided. The only downside was we had asked for 2 of the rooms to be set up as twins and this was not done and the bedrooms were really warm. Would highly recommend the craster arms for food we had Sunday dinner there and it was amazing! All in all though it was a great stay and we would return. Hide

The house is about a mile from Seahouses in a quiet cul de sac. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you would need. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
