Blue Poppy House, is ideal for groups of people, particularly families looking to holiday together. Situated in the hamlet of Waren Mill on the northern edge of Bamburgh village, the house is only a few hundred yards from the sea at Budle Bay, an easy walk to beautiful stretches of sand, and the mudflats ideal for birdwatching, and of course less than a 5 minute drive into the village of Bamburgh dominated by its Castle.

A fantastic holiday cottage that has been tastefully furnished throughout and painted in subtle nautical shades of blue. Painted wooden beams, drift-wood Karndean and sumptuous light grey carpets along with accents of colour, bring a light and modern feel to this prime holiday property. Crisp white bed linen and luxurious fluffy towels in all the bedrooms.

This is a great family and friends property for get togethers, dogs and children are also very welcome with plenty of space for all to enjoy.

Large log burner in the lounge, wi-fi throughout the property & separate room with pool table. Fantastic BBQ hut, paved patio area for super alfresco dining with table and chairs. Large garden (not fully enclosed) and plenty of parking on the driveway.

Utility room, ideal space to kick off your shoes, dry the dog and get sand out of your hair. 2 well behaved dogs are very welcome.

The property is a very nice holiday home with plenty of room, nicely decorated and well equiped. The bathrooms are particularly good. We did find the lack of an information pack about how things in the cottage worked was unhelpful but enjoyed our stay.

Lovely comfortable clean cottage, our party of 8 people were very comfortable staying here, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The house is lovely and spacious and in a great location for a family holiday. The house had most things we required but we felt it would benefit from some attention to general maintenance and a welcome pack would be good addition.

This house could be fabulous, but needs some repairs and attention to the condition. It sadly feels neglected, but is a great size and has the potential to be so much more. It does not merit the label of 'luxurious', or the price.

We loved this cottage. It was warm, welcoming, well equipped, spacious, clean and convenient for Bamburgh and the surrounding area. We were a group of 6 adults and a baby and the house was perfect for us. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent house if you are coming to Northumberland.

A nice size house in a small hamlet, directly off a main road but not too noisy. Exiting the property can be tricky as you can only see the road when most of the car bonet is into the road. Property itself is a nice size with plenty of space to spread out. Furniture was OK for the time we spent in the house. Kitchen needed a deep clean and like mosRead moret rentals the small appliances and utensils are way past thier prime, plenty of good quality crockery but pans and trays were worn. Oven makes a continuous ring sound, broken timer, had to turn off at isolator. The garden was good to exercise the dogs as there isn't much around the property to explore with everything on main roads. Short drive to shops but the co-op isn't the best. Surprised to see no handbook but most things are self explanatory. The smart tv and Internet were great to use and a must for the location. We had no signal on EE so internet was a must. Nice week in a good house, only slightly let down with age related items. Hide
