Within easy walking distance of the cottage there are several places to eat, a local delicatessen, fish shop and a general store. The quayside is a great place for the family to try their hand at crabbing or a good starting point for a walk along the coastal path to Morston or Cley-next-the-Sea. Enjoy sailing, birdwatching and boat trips to see the seal colony at Blakeney Point. Venture inland to the elegant Georgian town of Holt and spend a day wandering in and out of its antique shops and art galleries, boutiques and book shops. We could not alter the heating, although a staff member had told us we could. The upstairs heating could not be adjusted. The bathroom heating was brilliant (although had to stand on a chair to use switch!). Did not realise garden was shared. Might have had dog-clashes, but none of the other properties were occupied at the time.

Fabulous area, lovely cottage and garden, near a SPAR for last minute treats, good eating establishments in the village. Dog friendly sites wherever we went.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Blakeney. The cottage is located within a very short distance of the harbour. The local Spa is well stocked and the Kings Arms is very welcoming. I parked my car in the free car park just across the road after unloading our luggage next to the cottage.
