Bacton has a friendly village atmosphere with its sandy beaches stretching for miles. There is a good range of local amenities including a dog friendly pub and shop nearby, a children's playground and bowling green. The Fish & Chip shop and ice cream parlour are just 800 yards from the accommodation. Venture further afield and visit the historical estates of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall which host events throughout the year. A short drive will take you to the traditional seaside town of Cromer with its well-known Pier with seasonal year-round shows and Amazona Zoo. A little further West and you’ll reach Sheringham which boasts over 700-acres of National Trust parkland and is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, which runs to the charming Georgian town of Holt. The Broads are within easy reach offering good fishing, birdwatching and sailing and there are several local golf courses nearby.
