Roof Tree was just the best 'holiday house' in every respect for our three generation family holiday. The location for walking, time on the beach and in the sea, catching the ferry, nipping out for the best coffee at The Black Dog Deli and crabbing was perfect. The trip up to the top of the lighthouse in Southwold was so worthwhile with a guide whoRead morese local knowledge was amazing, and Le Roc (just across the river Blyth by ferry) is well worth a visit for great food. We would like to come back again every year until the end of time! Wonderful location, great space, fantastic location and beautiful village. Hosts kept us informed and the house was a great base for my family to get together and celebrate a birthday. Highly recommend!

Property would have been ideal if not for the intrusive noise from the building work ongoing in the adjoining semi detached property. Very extensive work with total rework. I think you as the letting agent should have been aware of this. At this time I would not recommend this property

House well located for beach and the excellent Anchor pub. Liked the scandi vibe and the comfy beds. Garden safe for children and dogs. Kitchen equipment and outdoor furniture needs updating/augmenting. But we had a wonderful happy family holiday

An excellent holiday stay property. My family and I were comfortable, warm and relaxed. The layout and facilities allowed for a very comfortable stay. Its position within the village is excellent too - and the garden a bonus.

Rooftree is in a fab location, couldn't have wished to be anywhere better. The property is perfect for those bringing a couple of dogs, as it was great for the garden (we did clear up after the dogs), and the wooden floors were ideal.

Roof Tree is a lovely cottage situated centrally in the village just 5mins walk from the excellent Anchor Pub. Although the central heating radiators were very efficient, in cold weather you would need it running the whole time as the house is not well insulated and very draughty. The front room wood burner that we used uses a lot of wood that you Read morecan buy in bags from the local store in the village. The house and the garden are good for dogs. Hide

Excellent location - loved that we could walk to the deli, Co-op, village pubs and the playground on the green. We had a lot of fun crabbing with the equipment available in the garage. Our two families with 4 young children (ranging from 4 months to 4yo) felt really at home and the kids had a lot of fun playing with the toys at the house. We had a Read morereally enjoyable stay and would look to return next summer! Hide
