Glen View will take your breath away! This stunning house with amazing space boasts a tranquil location and has beautiful views of the Suffolk countryside. It is ideally situated only three miles from the Suffolk Coast and the delightful village of Walberswick and five miles from the Edwardian coastal town of Southwold.  It is just a half hour walk to The Queens Head at Bramfield which serves excellent food and the Two Magpies Bakery and Cafe is a five minute drive away.

The house was designed by award-winning architect, James Gorst and has been built counter to the slope of the garden which elevates the living room to provide views over the surrounding fields.  At the other end of the house, the master bedroom is cut into the hillside to give low views through the meadows.  The interior is spacious and light and each of the huge picture windows create a tableau of vistas of beautiful trees and the surrounding countryside. There is a truly relaxing ambience throughout the house.

The garden has been landscaped to create an attractive outside space with lawns and herbaceous planting, an orchard and wildflower meadow, together with garden furniture and BBQ. A wildlife pond has been created and both the pond and the garden are securely fenced for children and dogs.

Spacious secluded property in rural Suffolk, so beautifully quiet and peaceful. Short drive to an easternly facing beach for watching the sunrise. Highly recommended.

This is a great property, in a very peaceful location. Close to many beaches, Southwold and Walberswick, being just a couple. Lots of walking around. Property itself is lovely, well equipped, comfortable beds, large living area. The patio is shaded by vines and gets the evening sun. It was a wonderful place for drinks and dinner, overlooking the gaRead morerden and wheat fields. Beautiful, and restful. The railway carriage is fairly basic, but has a certain ambience, if you don't mind a few spiders. Can definitely recommend. Hide

This is our second stay in three months. Stunning cottage- the photos really don't do it justice- in huge wrap around garden. There was just my husband and myself but it would be brilliant for families. Great location for all the lovely areas on the Suffolk coast and further inland. Would highly recommend.
