The cottage is in a quiet rural location, which suits us. It's an old building that has been beautifully renovated. Comfortable and warm in winter.

We loved our week at the Granary. Plenty of space to spread out; clean, quiet, and luxurious. This was a real treat to cosy up in during the winter. We had the log fire on most days.

A lovely cottage in a very peaceful backdrop of the Suffolk countryside. We found it to be a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. It is only a short distance drive to the beaches and lively coastal towns. The cottage was very clean and well presented. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped.

The cottage is a nice balance of old and new. All the rooms are light and spacious and the property is very well fitted out inside. Was nice that there was a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting for us. Overall, very happy with everything.

The country walks from the Granary are plentiful and amazing - the location is peaceful but with close proximity to Covehithe beach - dog-friendly and the best beach in Suffolk. It's the best of both worlds.

The property information and pictures on the website need to be updated. There were no TVs in either bedroom, the kitchen table is now rectangular not round, the kitchen is a different colour, the seating outside on the patio is different, and there are no other chairs/tables in the outhouse to put out on which you could eat at. Also the garden wasRead more not 100% secure or an area fenced off to let a dog out off the lead. So not a true representation. That said, we enjoyed our stay. It is is a lovely tranquil location with a lovely garden area/patio area but still within easy reach by car to Beccles, the coast/beaches to the east and Southwold to the south. It is well presented and roomy. We felt another shower would have been better for the 4 of us, a cot being available, a wardrobe to hang items in the downstairs bedroom, a standard cafetiere/coffee machine (Nesspresso etc) and some electric fans for warmer days would only improve it.
