Part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the entire region is much loved by walkers and birdwatchers with nearby reserves including RSPB Minsmere (11 miles). This four bedroom, four bathroom contemporary cottage has been extended and renovated, and offers beautiful styling and fantastic attention to detail throughout. A garden path leads to the front door on the side of the property and into an entrance hall with a utility cupboard and door to the downstairs bedroom. The main living space is open plan, featuring a combined lounge, kitchen and diner with bi-fold doors leading out to the garden. This is a light and spacious room with a fitted kitchen running along the outer wall, a cosy living space with a selection of seating arranged around the TV and wood burner, and a large dining table. The ground-floor bedroom with zip link twin/king bed has views over the creek with a shower room next door. There are three spacious bedrooms on the first floor, each with an en-suite. The master has a king-size bed, an en-suite shower room and views over Buss Creek. Outside, there’s a delightful coastal garden. Bi-fold doors lead from the house to a patio area with an outdoor table and chairs, then three steps lead up to the main garden where shrubs and small trees border the path to the open-sided garden room, which features a covered patio table.

Wonderful house, the rear extension is breathtaking as is the very beautiful and cleverly designed back garden. A perfect stay for up to four couples. A very well equipped house and a great space for 3 couples. Decor very nice - a welcome change from some holiday homes who seem to use second hand, mismatched furniture and sofa throws on old sofas. We would love to go back.

We were 4 couples visiting Southwold for the weekend. The property was bigger than we expected with lots of space downstairs to sit and eat. We liked all having a bedroom and bathroom each. The location is great.
