Located in the heart of Ferry Marina in the pretty Broadland village of Horning. The owners have created a relaxing holiday home with extra touches, such as a fridge for fishing bait, WiFi and television/DVD players in all the bedrooms.  The ground floor is dedicated to three bedrooms, one of which has en-suite facilities, a further family bathroom and a utility room. The first floor features open plan living with a kitchen, dining and sitting room, which has French doors offering views of the marina and leads out onto a sunny, south-east facing balcony with table and chairs and there is also a recently renewed decking area.

Horning is nestled alongside the River Bure in the heart of The Broads National Park. A holiday here offers great variety for all ages, with visits to nature reserves, fishing, walks, sailing, kayaking, canoeing etc. Close by is the lively village of Wroxham where a steam train ride will take you along the Bure Valley to Aylsham.  The coastal stretch between Sea Palling and Winterton-on-Sea is under half an hour away and offers wide stretches of sandy beaches often unpopulated, even in the summer. The cultural delights of Norwich are also within easy reach, making Horning a brilliant holiday location.

Really enjoyed our stay at Marshmere. Clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen & lovely balcony to sit out on with a view out over the Marina towards the river. Lots of parking

Having never stayed in an upside down it was very different, could have done with an upstairs toilet (we wre all pensioners)

Marshmere is a very warm comfortable spacious and light property. It has all you need in the kitchen. The cooker is now electric and not gas. The village and pubs are within easy walking distance and there is a short but nice walk to the local staithe which is behind the lovely church. The village is a pleasant stroll away with three pubs and tRead morehis property is in a very good location for exploring the Broards. The village of Ludham is nearby with a nice walk to How Hill. A visit to nearby Horsey Mere is a must to see the seal colony. Hide

Fishing is crowded with other cottages so near. Nowhere to keep equipment other than in the house. Picture was misleading.

Really lovely place to stay. Comfortable and perfect for fishing and exploring the broads. Close to three pubs. The fishing is excellent good variety of species caught and good size. Marshmere has everything you would need.
