This pretty self-catering cottage is located in the coastal village of Walberswick on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The cottage is pet friendly and is centrally placed in the charming village for easy access to the beach via a footpath, two pubs, village shop, gift shops and tea rooms, Walberswick Common and play area. Southwold, with its many attractions, is a walk or cycle ride across the River Blyth, and there is a large network of footpaths to enjoy along the coast to Dunwich.
The cottage comfortably sleeps 5 people ( with an additional 6 person on request).
Marsh View has a fitted kitchen with dining area, which is light and spacious.The sitting room has floor-to-ceiling sliding french doors which allow bright sunlight into the room and offers lovely views over the pretty, well-cared for garden. The sitting room is comfortably furnished with two sofas and occasional chair, wooden flooring and decorative rugs and coffee tables. NEW - from 1st November 2018 - a wood burning stove has been fitted in the sitting room for cosy evenings!
The cottage offers a ground-floor double bedroom with a tiled wetroom and a spacious ground-floor twin-bedded room with shower room next door. The bedrooms have good storage and bedside tables and lamps. A wide staircase goes up to the open plan sitting area, with single bed (and second pull out if necessary) and sitting area which gives access, through a glazed door, on to the balcony. The balcony overlooks the living sedum roof and out over the garden and beyond, to the sea. Care should be taken if small children are given access to the balcony as no one should walk on the living sedum roof.
The property offers uninterrupted sea views and views over the marshes where a lot of resident and migratory birds can be seen. The enclosed back garden is laid to a small area of lawn, with attractive shrubs, and garden furniture is available for sitting out in the summer. The driveway can accommodate up to 3 cars.

Bed linen, towels and all energy costs are included. The holiday cottage is heated by under floor heating, and the heating will be on for your arrival in the colder months. One small basket of logs is provided for the open-fire on arrival in the winter months (November-March). A week's worth of logs can be supplied for £30.
The cottage is push-chair friendly.
