Situated within the busy fishing village of Porthleven, 1 Peverell Cottages is a traditional cottage, which has been refurbished to high standard throughout, is an ideal base for exploring the South West.

Ideal for a family, the open plan lounge/diner makes a sociable living area with 2 comfy sofas and smart TV on one side with the dining table, chairs and window seat at the other.  The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and refrigerator with ice box.  Outside is the enclosed courtyard with raised decking area, table and seating, perfect for enjoying the evening sun.  

Upstairs, is the king-size bedroom with ensuite bathroom, twin bedroom and family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

1 Peverell Cottages is a real home from home, within easy walking distance to all amenities and providing all the creature comfort required, this is perfect accommodation for a Cornish holiday.

Kitchen: Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, under counter fridge with ice box.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: King-size bed (5'), bedside cabinets, chest of drawers
Ensuite: Shower cubicle with rainfall shower, heated towel rail, basin, WC
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), wardrobe with drawers, bedside cabinets.
Bathroom: Bath with shower over, heated towel rail, basin, wc.

GARDEN AND PARKING:
Enclosed area with concrete slope leads to decking with table and seating. Tucked away are the steps leading to Inglenook.
Please note that there is a residents right of way for access to two cottages next door.

No private parking but public parking available at The Shrubberies car park and out of season parking on the beach front. See Parking Information for Porthleven.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 4.00pm - departure 10.00am.  Short breaks / alternative arrival days are available out of season and by arrangement during peak season - please contact us to discuss
Pets Welcome: Two small dogs or 1 medium/larger dog welcome. £25 per week per pet
Power and Heating: Electricity included in the rent. Underfloor heating in the kitchen, lounge/diner and bathrooms. Digital electric radiators in the bedrooms.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment:Travel cot and highchair provided, please bring your own cot bedding.
Shop: 0.4 ml. Pub: 0.07 ml.

Initial impression was very clean, however soon found areas around sink and under beds not clean.

Peverell cottages was chosen for its location, and it didn't disappoint! We were very comfortable there for the week and enjoyed the stay immensely. Please don't take the improvements section as criticism - we loved the cottage and these are just notes for possible improvement, not complaints. We overlapped with the food festival days a little, butRead more were still able to park in the lanes close by. We're very grateful for the way the cottage was presented and to the owners for sharing their cottage with us. We love Porthleven. Hide

Really well located property which has been recently modernised internally. We found it fine for a family of four plus a dog. Best thing is the house is right on top of the beach area so great for dog walking, taking in the views and only five mins to the harbour area.

Lovely holiday cottage, comfy and well-equipped and in a great location, just 5 minutes walk from the centre. We had the best, relaxing holiday at this cottage. It is ideally situated for visits to places like St Ives, Mousehole etc., and is also just a short walk into Porthleven which has everything you could want from a holiday - good eating places and pubs, lovely harbour and beach.

Lovely and very much appreciated welcome pack including fresh flowers. The house was spotless, you couldn't tell it allows pets which is great as we don't have any. Literally everything you could possibly need is supplied, all you need to do is fill the fridge and buy your wine! A few things to bear in mind. Park in either of the side streets up fRead morerom the property. It's on a very steep hill which just gets steeper as you go up so unless you have athletic legs don't aim to park in the free cliff road car park. You'll need to keep the blinds drawn upstairs for privacy, and they're not blackout so it's an early start on sunny days. Otherwise highly recommended, a clean, well appointed and cosy property. Unable to use the front door as opening on to the busy road. There is no garden, just a passageway for the neighbouring cottages. The decked area was black, slippery and uninviting.

Absolutely lovely cottage very comfortable and clean second year of booking it will be booking again. Location your 2 minute walk away from the beach which dogs are allowed on and a 2 minute walk from the harbour with plenty of eateries pubs and shops including Pengelly's local shop. I would recommend this lovely cottage

A Very sweet cottage with a lovely cream tea welcome pack! Presented to a lovely standard! The two bathrooms was just perfect for our group, plus a very well equipped kitchen as well as a comfortable lounge. Great location with a sea view from one of the bedrooms, we would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was in a great location, close to beach & the centre of Porthleven. Beds were very comfortable & the cottage had all amenities we needed. We would definitely book again! Whilst there is no parking space, it is easy to pull up outside to unload & then there is a free car park just further up the hill. This was our 2nd visit to PorthleveRead moren & we cant wait to return. If you are looking for a quaint Cornish fishing village & beach away from the crowds of St Ives, but only 25 mins away, look no further. Some great restaurants, cafes & coastal walks are also on the doorstep. Hide
