The master bedroom is a private oasis waiting for a peaceful night’s sleep to recharge those batteries ready to explore this beautiful area and the newly fitted shaker style kitchen has all you could need to whip up a delicious dinner for you to enjoy too. Step outside into the south facing ‘suntrap’ courtyard garden to simply relax or enjoy a barbecue on those long summer evenings.

Pets: Sorry no pets allowed.
Notes: Wi-Fi, towels and bedding provided. Wooden cottage stairs with narrow treads in places. Please note- There is a secure shed at the front of the property for bikes. 

 

This ideal destination is just a short drive from the bustling market town of Framlingham (market – Tuesday and Saturday), full of boutique shops, quaint cafes and home to the English Heritage site, Framlingham Castle. The impressive 12th century fortress was the inspiration for international pop star, Ed Sheeran’s song ‘Castle on the Hill’. The well-known song refers to the castle in Sheeran’s home town and reminisces tales of his upbringing in the area.

Take a day trip to the picturesque Suffolk coast with the seaside towns and villages of Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Thorpeness and Orford all within a 40 minute drive of Perry Acres Cottage. Experience a tour of the Adnams brewery in Southwold, visit the Scallop statue at Aldeburgh beach or simply take a coastal stroll and eat some scrumptious fish and chips – there is something for everyone in Suffolk!

The cottage had a 'feels like home' atmosphere. The whole setting had a tranquil, peaceful, relaxing feeling to it. The cottage was equipped extremely well, the kitchen, bathroom, outside/garden, local information and so much more. The cottage was immaculate. Right from arriving, then exploring the 400yr old cottage it was evident a lot of time and effort had been put into the presentation of this beautiful property. Had a fab stay at Perry Acres for a long weekend. Well equipped and cosy cottage! Very clean, a comfy bed and a good shower. Shame we didn't get to use the courtyard as the weather was rubbish but I can imagine it would be lovely In the sunshine! In a lovely quiet location but only about 10 minutes from Framlingham for all the amenities you need. ERead moreven though we were a very last minute booking there was still a welcome gift of crisps, local wine, milk and bottled water as well as plenty of wood for the log burner. Perry Cottage was just perfect! Very well decorated, cosy place to sit and have a log fire. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a massive bath and great shower. It was in a brilliant location for walks and exploring the towns and villages of Suffolk.

We have enjoyed our week here and thank you for the treats. Such a comfortable and cosy cottage to return to after a days exploration in Suffolk. Our first visit, but not our last. Lovely means too. The Mill House, Saxstead and The Dennington Queen (A visit here is a must) Countryside is beautiful too. We look forward to returning soon.

It was a pleasure to visit your very comfortable cottage and lucky to have some autumnal weather. We revisited some of our favourite haunts especially Aldeburgh. We went to Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich, principally to see the art collection and a couple of special exhibitions Pleased to find the second hand book shop in Framingham had a new owneRead morer and was keen to maintain its continuity. We have had a lovely week away in this beautifully renovated cottage. Our 5 year old loved having his room on the top floor, 'King of the Castle'. I just love this cottage and want to stay! So quiet and beautiful. Everything is perfectly done. Today at 5am i saw a hare in the lane , we do see them on the South Downs in Sussex but they wouldn't dare sit in the road- I will be back

This was our first family holiday, we had such a wonderful time at Perry Acres Cottage. Beautiful little place, with so much to do!! Our little Lily loved her time here and we will be back, Wonderful time in a fantastic location. Thanks for making it a special time.
