Dan y Comin pet-friendly holiday cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Great for walking (trails from the doorstep), fishing, cycling and so much more. This detached cottage is on a smallholding but has its own private entrance, parking area and includes a utility room for storing walking, cycling or sports equipment (with Bike Park Wales only 30 minutes away).  The Brecon Beacons National Park has spectacular scenery - waterfalls, mountains and lakes. It is also a dark skies nature reserve - ideal for star gazing. 

 

Entrance is onto the 1st floor. 

Fully-equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs.  Kitchen includes full-sized fridge and freezer, microwave, air fryer, Nespresso coffee machine, electric oven and hob.

Lounge with feature fireplace , comfy sofas and TV (freesat).

Bedroom 1 -  King-size bed with en-suite bathroom with shower, wc and basin.

Bedroom 2 - Double bed and single bed with en-suite bathroom with shower, wc and basin.

 

Lower ground floor 

(stairs down from kitchen / diner)

Master bathroom with stylish roll top bath, separate shower unit and WC.

Utility room with access from outside, ideal for storing walking boots, bikes, sporting equipment. The outside access to this room is via stairs from the parking area. 

 

Outside

Front paved area with table and chairs, ideal for sitting outdoors to enjoy the views.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival which includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk and local delights.

High chair and travel cot available (please request when booking). Please bring your own bed linen for the cot.

Bed linen and towels provided.

Electricity and central heating included.

Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, new dishcloths and scourer.

Dan Y Comin is a fab cottage in the middle of nowhere but with easy access to Brecon and national park. Surrounded by farmland. Marion is a great host, busy lambing when we were there, but always on hand with any queries. Perfect for dogs with an enclosed garden. We loved it xx

Absolutely loved our stay. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, bedding and towels smelt lovely, host was very thoughtful - cake and milk on arrival was a nice touch.

We spent a festive cosy Christmas in the cottage, which was warm, welcoming and well positioned for exploring the Brecon Beacons. Despite being minus 5 outside the cottage was very warm and well insulated. Marion was extremely helpful and we really enjoyed our stay would certainly recommend

We had a wonderful 5 night stay here, the cottage is so comfortable and cosy, Marion is a wonderful host, even leaving us the biggest slices of homemade cake and some milk to welcome us, the bed is lovely and comfortable and the surroundings so peaceful, a great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons, well located to enjoy walks up Pen-y-fan, exRead moreploring waterfalls on the 4 falls walk etc, really dog friendly too so our dogs could enjoy the stunning countryside too Hide

Amazing holiday for the 2nd year in a row. We absolutely love this location and its perfect for a multi dog household. Close distance to some amazing mountainous walks and Brecon for nice local shops too. Everyone here was so friendly and the host Marion always makes us feel very welcome.

A really good sized, well equipped property. Nice and bright, with plenty of Velux windows. Bed extremely comfy, has a nice family bathroom on the lower floor. Owner Marion, very friendly, introduced herself on arrival. A great location for walking in the Beacons. A great property, clean, comfortable and spacious. Lovely owner who welcomed us with some delicious home made cake. Dogs aren't allowed in the bedrooms but there is a hallway you can enclose by the bedroom doors to keep pup nearby and safe.

We loved our stay at Dan y Comin! Marion was really friendly and welcoming. We had a minor issue and she came over within 10 minutes and got it all fixed. The cottage was perfect for us to stay - 2 adults, a baby and a dog. There was plenty of space and it was really handy having the travel cot and high chair provided. What a beautiful place! So happy we found it for our time exploring the Brecon Beacons. Check in was easy and Marion was so welcoming. She even made us a lovely cake for arrival, which was delicious. The accommodation is dog friendly with a secure gated garden. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms. Wish we had stayed longer.

This was brilliant location and property. The owner Marion, was an absolute godsend. She recommended so many fantastic places to visit, especially the pub,The Shoemakers Arms,is well worth a visit. The area is absolutely stunning and so many walks. People very friendly.

We had such an amazing time away. The weather was perfect but it would have been great in bad weather too. Marion was so friendly and helpful with her recommendations. The property is spacious and perfect for 2 couples or family. Fantastic holiday home for the week. Perfect for a family. Highly recommend Dan Y Comin, we had the nicest week here, host was excellent and provided everything we needed and was super helpful with recommendations.
