Lovely little cottage, right in the heart of Whitbys attractions, with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. It is well equipped and there is a useful welcome pack on arrival. Available car parking is a decent walk away, but not really a problem - there are short stay spaces nearby for dropping off luggage. The living area really isRead more very small, with limited outlook - but cosy and comfortable for 2 or 3 people (and a dog). We were out and about during the days and evenings, so spent little time sitting in anyway - the location makes it perfect for this. The bedrooms are all very comfortable, warm, bright and airy. We used the single room pretty much as a dressing room - to save space in the double room. The stairs up to the upper floors are steep spirals. Hide

We loved our stay with our 5 year old granddaughter. The beds were comfy and we were nice and warm with plenty of hot water. We all loved the location right in the heart of things, specially on Halloween. The small living space was no problem at all to us.

Difficult to find, and access, even slightest mobility issue and its not suitable. Otherwise if youre happy to walk from car to cottage etc it works fine. It is very compact and suitable for 2 people only.

The property was lovely, however there could be just a couple of things that would make it better....there was tea and coffee but no milk...just a pint popped into the fridge would make all the difference after a long car journey....also we discovered that the fridge door shelf was removed because of being broken before our arrival...making storagRead moree in the fridge a little difficult....the only other suggestion would be at the end of the season or periodically check over the equipment etc and replace tired with new. Other than that every thing was good. Hide

Nice location but the cottage is very tired. The living room chair is stained and the locks to the doors to both entrances are pretty ropey. The photographs make the property feel much more fresh, new and loved than it actually is.

The property was quirky and well equipped. It was in a central location in Whitby and close to the shops and harbour. Access to the property was challenging in terms of the 2 flights of stone steps leading up to the front door. Although there was free parking available on street, this was some distance from the property.. These details are importaRead morent and should be made clearer on the website. Hide
