Stable Cottage has been lovingly restored to an outstanding level, providing top quality accommodation all on one level. Dimmable lights throughout make for the perfect mood lighting and brimming with charm, this barn conversion is the perfect romantic getaway. The living and kitchen area are wonderfully modernised and certainly have your ease of use in mind with the open plan design. However, you’ll find nods to Stable Cottage’s past with charming exposed timber beams and tasteful furnishing. The bedroom is completed by the en-suite wet room with hand painted tiles with birds local to the property and area. The en-suite comprises of double head shower, vanity basin and WC.

Stable Cottage backs onto a grass area overlooking a wild meadow and water meadow. Here you will find a bistro table and two chairs – perfect for those sunny days enjoying an alfresco breakfast. As we mentioned, Stable Cottage is adjoined with Rose Cottage and therefore each barn has its own bistro set in this shared area with open screening. The rear garden area can be accessed by heading out of the front shared entrance door and then walking round the back of Stable Cottage.

Rose Farm Barns, which comprises of Rose Cottage and Stable Cottage, is situated on the edge of the rural village of Middleton. The owners have Rare Breed sheep, Borerays, grazing in a field nearby to the cottages at Rose Farm Barn. Guests are asked to be aware of their proximity and must keep their dogs on a lead if going for a walk around the three fields which the two cottages overlook.

The barn conversion is well laid out and the utility room with direct garden access is ideal with a dog. Contemporary decor. Excellent location in quiet village close to coast and near Aldeburgh and Southwold. On site parking. Good for dog owners. Comfort slightly compromised by sofa and wet room but bed was good.
