This cottage, one of a pair, is perfectly located on the edge of Middleton village for exploring the area. We took the opportunity to cycle on empty country lanes, stopping to either admire the view or buy produce from numerous honesty boxes. The cottage is very comfortable and exceptionally quiet. We would definitely consider returning.

Lovely cottage, perfect rural position but the pub is only 15 minutes walk away. The Bell Inn serves good food but best to book to ensure they are serving food on the night you require. Mill street narrow road with passing places but very quiet. A great location. Very relaxing.

Spacious property in a small village, perfect for Minsmere and other local bird watching sites. Clean, with a comfortable bed. Sky movies & Netflix a surprising bonus. The artwork was different and a conversation starter. I would recommend to a friend.

A thoroughly pleasant stay in Middleton. The cottage had everything we needed whilst being spacious and minimal. Middleton is a quaint village but only a short distance away from many other areas of interest. Can recommend the venue to any looking to explore this part of Suffolk.

The property was warm and comfortable on the whole. The large bed was very comfortable but the sofa in the lounge was not so comfortable. The log burner worked very well and most welcome on damp days. The kitchen lacked workspace and a freezer as in the description. The welcome pack was good. A small carton of fresh milk to make a cup of tea oRead moren arrival would have been appreciated. Hide

We had a lovely week staying at Rose Barn Cottage. It is well located in order to visit the Suffolk coast. It is very close to RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath and about equidistant between Southwold and Aldeburgh. The village has a pub within walking distance and there are small shops close by, Budgens on the A12 or the local shop in nearby WestletRead moreon or Yoxford. There is a Two Magpies bakery in Darsham (10 mins drive). The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed. The location is rural and is very quiet, as it is on the edge of the village. Parking is just outside the cottage and there is an area to sit round the back. We had bikes and were able to leave those in one of the sheds belonging to the farm. We appreciated the bag of goodies on arrival which included milk, crisps, jam, various sauces, tea and sugar. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend staying here. Hide
