Excellent. We went low season so we got a very good rate (thank you). The kitchen does have everything you could possibly need and then some. That Delonghi coffee maker is brilliant. The owners have really focused on the attention to detail with maps, games, smart TV, Christmas decorations and a tree. Weather was very cold outside but thRead moree cottage was warm and efficient. Some great walks nearby and easy walking (mostly off road) to Hawes and Hardraw. Dog loved it and we all felt at home. Been coming to Hawes for 25 years and this is far and away the best cottage for value, quality and comfort. Hide

I booked this cottage as suitable for dogs, which it is not. No garden to talk of & had to take the dogs across the road to a small green to go to the toilet, always on the lead.
