Sandbars is set in an exclusive part of Padstow, with panoramic estuary views and boasts a beautiful garden set over three levels where you can dine al fresco whilst watching the boats sail by. With a short stroll to the start of the Camel Trail and Padstow Harbour this the perfect base to explore the towns many activities and eateries that are on offer. Book in to one of Rick Steins restaurants, enjoy dinner at Number 6 with Paul Ainsworth or try the contemporary Basement Café. If you feel like some retail therapy, you can peruse the many great clothes shops in the town and if you are feeling adventurous why not try a speed boat ride, or some dolphin spotting tours!

GARDEN AND PARKING: Large gardens at the front and rear both with estuary views (not enclosed). Veranda at the front of the property. Parking for 2 cars plus parking on road.

Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in price. Gas central heating and heated towel rails in bathrooms.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Lovely clean and well equipped bungalow. Prime location with beautiful views over the estuary and easy walk into Padstow. Parking for several cars if needed. Would definitely book again.

We stayed at Sandbars by accident! Our original booking was cancelled due to flooding issues so we had to find somewhere else very quickly. How lucky were we that we found Sandbars! Gorgeous, spacious property, amazing views, spotlessly clean, very well equipped. The location is perfect, quiet residential area about 15 minutes stroll from the haRead morerbour and parking is very useful. Hide

The cottage was lovely, so comfortable and a pleasure to stay. It was presented to a very high standard and well equipped with everything you might need. It's location is perfect with a short walk into Padstow town, private parking and a stunning view from the living room. This bungalow sits just minutes away from Padstow town centre and that's on foot. The highly appointed bungalow ensures you will more than comfortable during your stay and boasts spectacular views over the camel estuary. With ample parking for two cars this is the perfect base from which to explore North Cornwall.

Very enjoyable holiday, beautiful Autumn weather, it was a delight to see the 7am sunrise over the Camel Estuary. Had Sunday lunch at The Stepping Stones restaurant at Wadebridge which was super. Bungalow is very well equipped and comfortable, gardens are very well maintained.

Cannot fault the location and the property. Both were excellent and ideal for our family of two adults and two children. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and the garden is probably the best I've ever seen for a property of this size. Location wise it is only a short walk into the centre of Padstow along the esRead moretuary, so this property is well located for dinning out in the evening without having to get in the car. Tesco is only a short walk or drive away, however this is a smallish store, if you want a larger selection of items there is a large Tesco at Wadebridge which is only a short 10-15 min drive away. For those who like to walk there are great coastal walks accessible from Padstow; one along the peninsula toward Stepper point and one if you get the Ferry to Rock and walk toward Polzeath beach. There is also cycle hire for bike rides along the camel trail. Hide

"Sandbars" at Padstow is a gem of a place to stay. It is comfortable, wonderfully clean and well equipped with spectacular views across the Camel River estuary. We already plan a return visit

Wonderful accommodation in a great location, with fabulous views from the living room and all three tiers of the garden. Only a ten minute walk into Padstow and in a quiet residential area. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped.

Sandbars is located in a perfect location for walking into Padstow and visiting the surrounding countryside and beaches. It is quiet, commands superb views and is very comfortable and warm. We always love staying at Sandbars. The location is perfect for an easy walk into Padstow and everything has been thought of for ease and comfort whatever the weather.
