Idyllic holiday cottage for a couple complete with its own private hot tub, log burner and near the coast. Newly renovated and stylishly designed it is also pet-friendly. New Quay, Aberaeron and Aberystwyth are all within a short drive while there are plenty of places to eat out and enjoy.  This coastline is famous for its dolphin population and you can even book trips from nearby harbours. The Cambrian Mountains offer spectacular scenery plus a wide range of outdoor activities such as walking, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. 

Ground Floor - Open plan lounge kitchen and dining area with modern polished concrete floors.  Fully equipped kitchen with full sized SMEG fridge and freezer, electric oven and hob, air fryer, dishwasher and microwave Dining table and chairs to sit 4. Lounge with wall mounted smart TV , comfy leather sofa and 2 arm chairs. Log burner (first basket of logs included). Bedroom 1 - King sized bed with vanity unit and large wardrobe with full length mirror, bedside cabinets and a dressing table. Bathroom with roll top free standing bath, wc basin and separate shower unit. Shower tray is 20mm in height.

1st Floor - Mezzanine area with a leather sofa and skylight views across the farm, distant sea views.

Outside - Private enclosed garden, paved area with hot tub, table and chairs for 4.

  • Bed linen and towels provided.
  • Electricity & central heating included. Air Heat source pump and solar.
  • High chair and travel cot available on request. Please bring your own bed linen for the cot.
  • Wi-fi available.
  • The following items are also provided at the cottage for the start of your stay… Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and a couple of dishwasher tablets to get you started, new dishcloths and scourers, tin foil and cling film. Bathroom: hand soap and 2 toilet rolls per toilet. General cleaning products: bleach, shower cleaner, anti bacterial spray etc.
  • Supermarket deliveries available but there are also plenty of shops nearby to shop locally
  • Located on a working farm.

Had a fabulous week at Sgubor. Weather was amazing so spent a lot of time in the garden. The mezzanine is lovely for sunset watching. The equipment in the property is very good and bed and sofas both super comfy. Hot tub a real bonus. I would recommend this property. Thanks for having us it was a beautiful property and location.

A beautiful barn in a peaceful, rural location. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and it provided a great base to explore the surrounding areas. The Barn was beautifully furnished and despite visiting during a cold spell in February it was always very warm. In fact we only used the log burner once one evening. We took advantage of the hot tub most eRead morevenings despite it being pretty cold getting from the door to the tub. It was worth it once you were in though!!!! Just back from the most wonderful week stay at Sgubor Nantcoy. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could have needed and was super cosy! The ninja air fryer/pressure cooker was a really nice touch, made cooking after long days out nice and simple!

Superb property inside and out. The hot tub was a great way to spend the evenings followed by a cosy up by the fire. Owners welcome pack was good and gave us all the instructions needed

Sgubor Nantcoy was PERFECT! We had the best holiday there. There was a weather warning out first few days but Sgubor was cosy and had everything we needed for some lazy days indoors. The location is great, close to Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and New Quay. Our dog liked it too. We would definitely come back, highly recommend.

Wow! What a lovely cottage. There's nothing that could be faulted. From the comfort of the bed, to the cleanliness, to the equipment, to the lovely hot tub. Perfect. The owners were so helpful when we had a query (not related to the cottage), they responded immediately.

This is a fabulous little cottage in a lovely quiet location. The cottage has everything you need & more, hot tub & log burner are great. Bed super comfy & shower & bath are fab. Owners are lovely, we will definitely come back again. Have already recommended this lovely cottage to our friends.

The best cottage ive booked at original cottages. Spacious cottage for 2 on a working sheepfarm. Very comfortable, clean and well equiped. Excellent bed & shower (the rain douche is a mousson, instead of the common drizzle). Friendly owner.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Location was very rural but also within 30min or so drive to beauty spots and beaches. Cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and location very quiet. Hot tub was a nice addition and very much enjoyed .

We had a lovely stay in the cottage very clean spacious modern with character too. Location were perfect very quiet and private cottage. Our little Patterdale loved the outside area which were safe and clean. Some lovely walks in surrounding area, close to beach. Sgubor is a lovely cottage. The hot tub is a real bonus, perfect for a relaxing evening! The decor and bathroom is beautiful. It is not often you find a dog friendly stay of such a high standard. We visited some lovely beaches and Aberaeron is close by and a lovely little town. Will definitely return!!

Stunning Sgubor, well designed, thought out and lovely decorated for Festive month of December and the Christmas month. Comfortable bed. Warm bath and shower. Great kitchen Dining area. We loved our stay here. The property was exactly as described, was really cosy and comfortable. The outdoor tap was useful for cleaning the dog, as was the shampoo and dog towel provided! Lovely quiet, and rural location, with lots of places to visit and walks to go on - would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely property, no traffic apart from the odd tractor, so relaxing......even comes with a hot tub, perfect!
