In prime location in the popular village of Walberswick, 1 Anchor Cottage is a beautiful recently renovated cottage. With an additional extension on what was once a traditional, small and cosy cottage the property has been transformed into a large, spacious and modern holiday home. Boasting glorious sea views and large private gardens to enjoy, this is a truly special holiday home.

On entering the property you’re welcomed into a large open hallway with an area for hanging coats, shoe storage and dog bed. The open plan living/dining/kitchen room is the real centre point of this home. Beautifully spacious and offering the ideal space for your whole group to gather and socialise. The large sliding doors cleverly slide into the walls giving a real openness and brings the outside in during the summer months. The kitchen has been equipped to the highest standard, with everything you will need and more to cook up some culinary delights and with the luxury of not one but two dishwashers no one will be slaving over the sink. A contemporary Rais woodburner sits in the corner of the room offering a cosy feel during the winter months making this cottage perfect for holiday throughout the year. There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor area.

At the front of the property sits a cosy snug room with another woodburner and Smart TV. The ideal space to sneak away and enjoy some quiet time. 1 Anchor Cottage also boasts ground floor facilities with a ground floor bedroom and shower room. Ideal for members of the party that may wish to avoid using the stairs.

Up on the first and second floor the property offers an additional four bedrooms. All beautifully furnished to a very high standard offering guests storage and comfort.

1 Anchor Cottage sits beautifully between a large front and rear gardens. The front Mediterranean-style garden is laid to shingle with a large decking area. Ideal to sit out and enjoy the sun. The rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with a patio area. Ideal space to play and enjoy the summer sun. Pub: 50 yards. Shop: 800 yards.

Great property for a family birthday celebration, plenty of space and good layout. Two dishwashers and ovens made catering easy. Outside space was well planned and plenty of parking for 5 cars. Great location in a very pretty village and the pub opposite is excellent.

Enjoyed a lovely celebratory weekend away. House is in a perfect quiet location for access to the beach and local area. The property is a good size both inside and out to allow all family members some space to be alone or all together. Table tennis and football table perfect entertainment plus can just stroll across the road to the pub.

Lovely house and garden in an excellent location The Anchor pub opposite is a bonus as well. However, some details of the accommodation need attending to at the price we were asked to pay over a May half term.

An excellent cottage right at the heart of Walberswick village. The cottage is as spacious as the photos imply - the downstairs is a delight - so much bigger than you might think. The garden / outside space was a sun trap.

We had a very enjoyable time at 1 Anchor Cottage. We were a large extended 3-generation family plus a dog. The size of the house, the large "living area" plus the quiet front lounge, allowed us to all be together whilst also giving some quiet space when individuals wanted to get time to themselves. We appreciated the large fridges and two dish-washRead moreers and two cookers as we enjoy cooking good meals for the whole family. Hide
