This modern contemporary newly renovated beach chalet is just minutes away from the superb surfing beach of Croyde and the pretty village with its choice of shops, restaurants and pubs. For those that enjoy walking visit the National Trust owned headland of Baggy Point with its dramatic vistas and rugged cliffs. 

The property is stylish and light with its open plan living space providing a warm atmosphere with the underfloor heating.  Enter through the front door into a porch area and then to the open plan kitchen with its bright white modern units and blue glass splashback, integrated fridge/freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.  A breakfast bar is situated ideal for that large cup of coffee to start the day.  The dining area with oak dining suite and industrial lighting above.  The lounge area provides two sofas a Smart TV with Freeview and X BOX 360, there is also a dimplex electric wood burner effect fire to give warmth in those winter evenings. There are three bedrooms with the first having a King size bed with Smart TV and patio doors to the rear decked area.  Bedroom two with zip n link 2”6 beds which can be made into a King size bed with prior notice, Smart TV. Bedroom three has a single. The family bathroom has a square ended bath with shower over, washbasin and WC and heated towel radiator.

Outside there is a hot shower perfect for washing down after a day’s surfing, a small private decked area with garden furniture.  Parking for two cars.

Fab, modern cottage in outstanding location. Loved having our groceries delivered and coming off the beach to relax each night. Outdoor shower isn't great but it was enough to wash sand off our feet. Highly Recommend - Will definitely stay again - Great location to beach and village, both within short walking distance of the house. We're a family of 5 with two teenage surfing mad boys and our 9 year old beach mad daughter, so easy access to the beach and village was vital for us. Property was clean, well maintained, and well appointed. TheRead more high ceilings make the rooms feel spacious and open. Roof widows are an excellent addition if you are lucky enough to get hot weather like we did, and there is also no shortage of fans and TV's with both in just about every room. There is an electric fireplace in the sitting room although we never used this due to the glorious weather we had and sofas are a comfy relief after long days at the beach. Kitchen is well stocked will all the utensils, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc that one needs stashed away and available in the cupboards and draws. The breakfast bar and two stools are a nice touch and made the perfect place for me to feed the boys before they disappeared for the day. The outside shower is a massive positive as being able to de-sand and wash down outside before going into the house works really well especially with children and all the surfing and beach kit. All-in-all, a Great property, excellent location and we had a perfect week in Croyde Bay. Hide

Wonderful well-designed accommodation within a short walk from the beach. A large off-street parking space is included along with an outdoor shower for when returning from the beach. Although the accommodation is on a small footprint, the internal layout maximises the space and has a light modern airy feel. The equipment included (oven, hob, dishwRead moreasher, etc) is of a high standard and the lounge area is very comfortable having large fabric sofas, rather than of the nasty faux-leather variety. We stayed in this cottage for a four night break in winter with our large dog and baby. There is ample space in the accommodation and the location is excellent for the beach and the local pubs. The cottage had most of the things we needed for our stay it kitchen equipment. We did feel it lacked a cosy factor though and felt a little cold bare in moRead morest of the rooms. We had some issues with heating and contacted Marsdens who were really quick to respond. The owner came quickly to look at the problem whilst we were out but we still didnt feel that the underfloor heating (the main source of heating) was fixed - although the cottage naturally warmed up after us being there a couple of days. It would have been nice to have a call back to check our issues had been sorted. The beds were really comfy and we slept well. All in all we had a lovely break and the location of this property was great for us, future guests wouldnt be disappointed. Im not sure we would go back to this particular place as we have had more preferable accommodation in the area before. Hide
