Bodlowen is a stunning new property that offers guests a vibrant and contemporary home that everyone will adore. Bespoke art work from local galleries, large Smart TV's and a woodburner are just some of the luxurious features on offer here. The garage has been converted into a games room to entertain the whole family, there is a separate snug for younger family members and the garden offers a perfect strip for a competitive game of Boules too. St Merryn boasts some fantastic pubs and restaurants and is famous for being close to the well known beautiful sandy beaches, "The Seven Bays for Seven Days," which are within a 2-5 mile radius: Trevone, Harlyn, Mother Iveys, Boobys Bay, Constantine, Treyarnon and Porthcothan. Rick Stein’s gastro pub, The Cornish Arms, is an enjoyable stroll down the tree lined pathway. For freshly baked bread, pasties, fresh local produce and an amazing selection of wines and craft beers to compliment your BBQ, visit the village convenience stores or deli.

The Championship Golf Course of Trevose is only 2 miles away and Historic Padstow is a 5 minute drive from your front door, offering a beautiful harbour, a large selection of shops and restaurants, traditional Cornish Pubs, amazing ice cream and activities for children. Here you can take a fishing or pleasure trip, catch the foot ferry across the Camel estuary to Rock for lunch and explore the scenic Camel Trail by bike.

Excellent property and the owners seem to have thought of everything. The house is well positioned for access to pubs, restaurants and essential shops, and is not far from beaches and coastal paths. We particularly enjoyed our evening games of table tennis and darts, and even completed a couple of jigsaws. The cream tea waiting for us on our arrRead moreival was a lovely touch and fortunately the weather was kind enough for us to enjoy it outside. The pod point car charging is also a useful feature and takes the stress off having to find charging points. Hide

A super holiday home, with everything we needed and more. Fantastic dog friendly garden. Great location for the seven bays, this area has been my happy place for a good number of years.

Overall, it was an amazing property, really well equipped with good quality equipment. A great location, but walk to the Harlyn beach at your peril, go in the car its far safer!!

Bodlowen is in the perfect location to visit Cornwalls north coast. The bus stop was close by with regular buses to Padstow and Newquay, with stops at popular beaches on the way. We only used our car once during the week we stayed. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The owners have pretty much thought of everything including lots of Read moregames and jigsaws which came in handy when the rain came. Would definitely recommend. Hide

The most complete and well thought out holiday let of the many we have used. Clean and modern, with good quality fixtures and fittings, it feels like a home, not just a holiday let assembled quickly to make make money. We had a couple of minor concerns that just require a little care. One is that the varnished wooden staircase, so something with gRead morerip on you feet is recommended. The other is an unforgiving cooker hood. Most are, but the corners on this one are a bit sharp too, so mind your head when cooking. Hide

The house is beautiful. A very well equipped kitchen, spacious bright rooms throughout and very clean. We loved the selection of board games and puzzles, the games room with dart board and table tennis table and the garden space. Close to shops, a few pubs and cafes and the beach only a 25 minuet walk or a 5 minuet drive to get to. We loved explorRead moreing from the house and went on lots of coastal walks to r6ake in all the sights around the area. The farmers arms is a worth a visit, the staff are so friendly and the food was delicious. The welcome Hamper for us and our dog was a lovely treat. We had a superb stay. The house was fully equipped and lacked for nothing. The location meant we did not had to travel far for a beach or town - Padstow, Wadebridge, 7 bays, Trevone Golf Club were all easy to get to. We really liked the easy walk down to to Constantine bay and given it was February, it was wonderful to walk on the beach and the cliRead moreff tops. We spanned three generations and each of us felt very relaxed at the cottage (great for teenagers - they were fully occupied by table tennis and darts). Normally a stay can easily miss small details, it was hard to find anything missing at Bodlowan, even the amount of games to play each evening gave too much choice. A very comfortable and beautifully-furnished home that has everything to make a holiday fantastic. We had a wonderful time and very much appreciated the Welcome Book that was filled with ideas and suggestions of where to eat, where to visit, etc. We made full use of the suggestions and weren't disappointed with any. We enjoyed a fabulous week in Bodlowen catching up with friends and walking the dog. We chose the house as it had its own electric car charger and a good location but were delighted to find it was a fabulously spec house. It had everything you could need and more. The house is beautifully furnished for comfort, with lovely art work. We had a mix Read moreof weather but had the most relaxing break and enjoyed all the beautiful local beaches and Cornish villages. I can't recommend more highly as a place to stay. Hide
