The cottage is perfectly located right in the town but being so close to the main road is somewhat a little noisy, but location wise is great. We had a lovely week in the cottage with our medium sized dog. It is well situated for the whole of southwold, but we particularly liked the proximity to the adnams shop and the canteen. The aga keeps it very cosy. No winter pyjamas needed! The weather was perfect, but we always enjoy southwold at this time of year whatever the weather. Whilst a lovely cottage perhaps some warning as to how steep the stairs are. Any mobility issues would be an issue managing these. Also the key safe was very difficult to open

A lovely cosy character cottage. Great location for all shops, restaurants and the beach - 10 mins walk. Ideal for a young/fit couple or solo guest who wont mind a steep and narrow cottage staircase. This cosy, very warm cottage is in a perfect location for everything Southwold has to offer. The steep staircase was a good workout as well as the wonderful beach walks that are super close. Its seaside themed ornaments are in abundance which adds to the cottages charm but not for those who suffer with a dust allergy. Do go prepared with everythiRead moreng you need as nothing extra is provided - although we did find salt for our chips! The bedding is super quality and the bath sheets are wonderfully soft and cosy. There was just myself and my hubby and a small dog - I would hazard at saying that with any more bodies the place would feel cramped. We enjoyed our stay though, the weather was amazing for January! We loved Pebble cottage. A small cosy space from where you can enjoy wonderful Southwold. The cottage only has an Aga to keep it warm but it did a great job. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed.

A lovely, comfortable little cottage for two ideally positioned for the town centre. The property had everything we needed, was always warm, and the towels and bed linen were particularly good. Car parking at the common was convenient and only a 5 minute walk away.

On arrival we found a constantly dripping tap in the sink. We reported it and they sent a plumber to repair it. But the job was too difficult and though he said he would return soon he never came back during our holiday. The constant noise of the tap was not pleasant. It wis also a complete waste of water. The late Summer temperature was still quiRead morete warm yet the aga was on when we arrived and the cottage was like an oven. We were only given a thick duvet (almost certainly 13.5 tog). This was too hot for us so all we could do was take the duvet cover off, use it as a sheet with the bedspread on top. There was also one single blanket available. We asked for you to please supply us with either a thinner duvet or a couple of blankets. You got back to us and said that their team in Southwold said they could not do that. We also had to turn the double mattress over because it was quite worn and my back sank into it. Finally, my wife said that one of the items in the First Aid box had a 2008 use by date on it.
