On the popular St James Green, Caithness House stands proud. Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!"

Brilliant location for both beach & town, parking wasnt a problem people seem to respect the signs. Spacious apartment with handy side entrance & small garden. Great for our small dog. Kitchen very well equipped.

This ground floor property is in an excellent location close to the sea. It is spacious with a cosy living area and a well-presented contemporary kitchen. Other parts of the flat are a little dated and an attempt to create a third bedroom - without an exterior window - is not successful. However, the other two bedrooms are comfortable. Nice flat, good location, a bit cramped for 6 in bedroom areas. Sofas not comfortable and too low for accessibility.. Beautiful kitchen, well equipped.

Loved the flat and suited our needs perfectly. Shower room a bit snug for one of our party with mobility issues but was still manageable and the plus points outweighed that.

The apartment is in a wonderful location. Close to the beach and the town. The main living/dining/kitchen area is spacious as is the main bedroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are quite small. The shower room is very small. Bedroom linen is of a high quality and the beds were very comfortable. Be aware if youre booking with mobility issues, as all on oRead morene floor, the main entrance has one steep step. We had a lovely week in Southwold. Hide

Our second stay at Caithness House. It is convenient, well thought out and equipped. My daughter has mobility issues and it works perfectly for her.
