A quaint, red-bricked detached holiday home, Eastway Cottage is set to be a hit with all party members. With the benefit of off-street parking, you’ll feel honoured as you open the iron gates onto your own private driveway! This deceptively spacious property has all that you could need for a relaxing holiday on the Suffolk coast. The front door opens onto a homely sitting room – with comfortable sofas oh so perfect for resting your weary bones. The main feature is the impressive fireplace with electric effect fire – modern touches make this a stylish space to enjoy at whatever time of the year. An added treat can be found in Bedroom 2 as you enjoy views out towards the sea: truly magical. The views only emphasise the fantastic location of this cottage.

You can walk to the beach easily, or even bring back a refreshing tipple from the Adnams shop – the possibilities are endless. Pub: 100 yards, Shop: 150 yards.

Why we love this property: Eastway Cottage has all the ingredients for a fantastic holiday in the coastal town of Southwold.  It is just a short distance to the town and beach with private parking for up to 2 cars!

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

This is a charming cottage in a superb location in the middle of the town. Having its own private parking is a great benefit which many local properties do not have.

This cottage is a wonderful little getaway with ample parking on its driveway in front of the cottage and is minutes away from the beach and town. The refresh which has recently been done has really improved the cottage making it fresher, lighter and more comfortable. A really wonderful property - I am sure we will be back again.

Eastway Cottage is in a superb location, extremely central and yet quiet and peaceful. We could hear the sea on the shore at night. Wonderful!

Very good location, close to the beach, shops and pubs and still quiet. The cottage itself is a bit used and needs some improvement.

This delightful cottage is ideally located for all local amenities, especially the beach. Places to visit are also within easy reach. It has the distinct advantage of its own parking area, something which is important in Southwold.

Enjoyed our stay at Eastway cottage. Location great for pubs shops and beach. Comfortable furnishings. Kitchen adequate. Would of liked a king-size bed. But the double was comfortable. Heating tricky to get the hang of, but was you have. It will heat the cottage up well. Parking for two cars great. Because there is not much Parking in Southwold.
