What a beautiful place! elegant yet comfy too, a perfect home from home. The garden was just wonderful for our four legged friends, a joy to sit in and relax at the end of the day of beach walks for us too. The location is perfect, near everything (beach, pier, shops and pubs) but quiet and peaceful too. On practicalities; Spotlessly clean, Read morewell equipped, parking space available and parking on the road easily available too (guess that may be different in summer), heating etc instructions clear, easy to use. So impressed will be booking again! Hide

The cottage was comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us and a dog, who particularly loved the garden. It is ideally located for the high street, beach and pier.

We had a great stay at Briar Patch, it was a real home from home for 3 generations of our family plus the dog. It managed to be at once cosy and spacious, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Fantastic location, great for parking, easy walk to pier, beach, shops and restaurants. A very spacious house especially considering we had two families including teenagers! My second time at Briars Patch and we will be back!

Lovely cottage and in a great location. It's a great size for 8 people and has a really nice flow to it. The quality of the furniture and kitchen items was excellent. There are a couple of issues we have flagged to the owner ie the dishwasher really needs replacing and all the sinks, taps etc need the limescale removing. Simple things to fixRead more. Having said that we loved it and have booked again for next year. Hide

The property is in a fantastic location no more than 300 yards from anything you need. Linen and towels were in plentiful supply. Beds were comfy and once the fire was lit you knew you were on holiday in Southwold in February. Bath is huge. We will most certainly stay again.
