Bright and welcoming, we couldn’t think of a more charming cottage to enjoy Southwold within. With an ice cream shop directly opposite, children and big kids alike will love queuing for a refreshing treat in all seasons (we promise!) Perfectly situated for exploring both the beach and High Street, Fisherman’s Cottage is not just a convenient bolt-hole. Thoughtfully decorated, two reception rooms mean that families or friends can use the house to their exacting requirements. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking, although you may find you’re tempted by one of the numerous independent eateries in this charming Suffolk town. A joy in all seasons, there are not one but THREE wood burning stoves to choose from at Fisherman’s Cottage; imagine the festive period spent here! When summer calls, you’re only a stone’s throw from the beach, meaning you won’t have to carry your belongings far before setting up ‘camp’.

If the photos haven’t tempted you enough already, we thoroughly recommend you experience Fisherman’s Cottage for yourselves! Pub: 150 yards, Shop: 150 yards.

What a great position nearly opposite The Nelson pub. Fishermans Cottage is very central to everything that beautiful Southwold has to offer. Comfortable family accommodation which included the 4 legged members. Well equipped for 8 people and includes a lovely, little sun trap courtyard! A great base for a Southwold holiday.

We had a wonderful stay for our Mum's 80th Birthday celebrations. This property couldn't be better situated for anyone with limited mobility, close to the shops and the beach. Very well equipped with comfy beds and sofas. We would certainly return.

The property is in a prime location. The beach is on your doorstep, as is the pub The Nelson, but you are in walking distance to everything. The house has great character and log burners to take the chill off the autumnal evening. A lovely little courtyard, which catches the sun, and provides shelter from the wind. Inviting living rooms and large bRead moreedrooms with comfy beds. Hide
