Lovingly restored, this delightful Victorian cottage is centrally located only a very short walk from the High Street and Southwold beach but quietly tucked away in a small mews off of South Green. The perfect spot I’m sure you’ll agree!

Exceptional in every way, the homeowners have painstakingly ensured Garden Lodge offers everything and more any group would need to enjoy a home-from-home holiday here. On entering the property you are welcomed into the open plan living/kitchen and dining area. The olive green DeVol cabinets in the kitchen set off this beautifully furnished room. Well equipped with all you will need and more, such as Riedel glassware, Burleigh crockery, Wüsthof knives, Le Creuset cookware, and Masterclass bakeware to make the most of your luxury self catering experience. Bakers and cooks alike will fall in love with the state-of-the-art Wolf range cooker!

The sitting area has a Samsung Frame Smart TV for guests to enjoy, which discretely displays artwork when it is not in use. The wood-burning stove and comfortable sofas make this property ideal for cosy winter breaks also.

Upstairs the property boasts three beautiful bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities and a family bathroom fitted with a luxurious roll top bath and a rain shower over the bath. Shop: 400 yards. Pub: 150 yards.

Mole End and Garden Lodge are situated next to each other and can be booked together to accommodate larger parties.

Bedroom 3: Two singles, storage for clothing. Small singles for children can be made into double upon request.

Parking: On street parking opposite on Constitution Hill or Gardner Road. Guests can drive onto courtyard in the mews to drop off luggage.
Pets: One dog welcome – not allowed upstairs please. Dog bowl provided.

Southwold South Green Area - Properties here enjoy one of the best locations in town. Great location and wonderfully ( I mean top notch) equipped cosy cottage right next to Gun Hill. The living space, which is downstairs, is an open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area and the owners have a cottage guide app you can download to read before your stay. Very clever use of the space. Good

Garden Lodge is a fantastic cottage located at the bottom of Constitution Hill and very near Gun Hill Cannons. It is tucked away in a little court yard making it a very peaceful location but still only a couple of minutes walk to the beach or the town. The cottage is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. I loved the built in Sonos sound sRead moreystem, my daughter loved the Dyson hair dryers and my wife loved the wood burning stove. It was warm and cosy, the beds were super comfy and kitchen was great to cook in. We'll definitely come back. Hide

Having stayed in Southwold several times, this was by far our favourite location as it was quiet, the sky at night was amazing and we like going down to the harbour/walking to Walberswick. The cottage was very clean with high quality bedding and we loved the tech such as the ceiling Sonos speakers and heating controls in different rooms. The kitcheRead moren is also very well equipped. Garden Lodge is ideally placed in a little, quiet mews very near to the sea front and the delights of Southwold. The accommodation and decor is of a high standard, beautifully presented and caters to the comfort of guests. Booking was both easy and very helpful.
