This delightful one bedroom Victorian cottage is tucked away in a quiet mews off of South Green in the heart of the popular coastal town of Southwold. Only a 2 minute walk to the High Street and Southwold beach, this is the perfect location for any couple looking to enjoy the beautiful Suffolk coast and beyond.

On the ground floor the property boasts a beautiful master bedroom. Oozing style and sophistication, a dream-inducing luxury velvet bed takes centre stage in the room. The bathroom is also found on the ground floor and the luxury extends through to this room with a roll top bath, and overhead rain shower cubicle facilities. With built-in Sonos speakers in each room, including the bathroom, this is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. 

Up on the first floor you find the light and airy living area, cleverly designed making the most of the space. The DeVol kitchen is newly fitted with all the appliances and equipment you will need to make the most of your self-catering experience, such as Riedel glassware, Burleigh crockery, Wüsthof knives, Le Creuset cookware, and Masterclass bakeware. A dining table and chairs for two also in this room give the opportunity for guests to sit and enjoy a romantic meal together! During the winter months the wood burning stove makes for a cosy and warm addition to this room. The sitting area boasts a Samsung Frame Smart TV for guests to enjoy, which discretely displays art work when it is not in use, a large velvet sofa with leather footstool for added comfort, antique desk, and stunning décor to match. Mole End and Garden Lodge are situated next to each other and can be booked together to accommodate larger parties.

Wow! What an amazing location. A fantastic, cosy hideaway, right by the beach and with a lovely green just across the road. Mole End is fantastically appointed and the care and attention to detail and style is evident. We had a great few days and loved walking around the town and along the beach to Walberswick. Beautifully renovated. Had everything I needed and a stones throw from shops and the beach. Very good quality fixtures and fittings. Love the Jim Lawrence lights, fitxtures and fittings and the Le Creuset kitchenware cookware.

Wonderful location for a couple getaway with everything on your doorstep but tucked away for some privacy. Beautifully decorated home with all accessories you could think off available.

This is a lovely property, finished to a high standard and containing high quality furniture and equipment. It is ideally situated being close to both town and beach but in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. We had a very relaxed, comfortable stay and would definitely go back.

This is the 9th Property we have stayed in when away in Southwold and whilst everyone is of a very high standard, this is like a Boutique Hotel++ We will definitely be staying in Mole End again

The cottage was a lovely place to stay. A 2 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute away from the town centre. The cottage had everything you needed inside - lots of great cooking equipment to a washing machine and tumble dryer. Would definitely stay again.

High spec equipped property in a fantastic location although the bedroom is quite cramped. Parking close by and free. Underfloor heating and general room temperatures easily controlled. Information received about the property and local area was really appreciated and useful. However, some information was unfortunately out of date.

Mole End is a beautiful cottage in Southwold , it had everything we needed and loved the high tech package. A mirror would be nice in the bedroom to do hair etc, and the front door lock was a bit iffy (we couldnt get the key out whenever we came back from being at the beach) hence the alarm went off , otherwise a beautiful place , definitely be bacRead morek Hide

We had the best stay at Mole End. It was the perfect property for us - a gorgeous bathroom, kitchen and lounge area with all the high spec equipment you could imagine. The speakers in each room were a lovely touch. As was the coffee machine and Dyson hair dryer! Great position to walk to Southwold town centre and had no trouble with parking.
