Beautiful property located in idyllic location - this made the return for us over the last eight consecutive years. Peaceful, surrounded by beautiful woodland and country charm. The property management could improve further on a few aspects, like tidiness in front of the property and clearer communication.

We loved our stay at Palmers Folly, beautiful location, tranquil and peaceful. A lovely welcome pack of shortbread biscuits and even treats left for our spaniel. Cosy log burner and sumptuous bedding, we slept like babies. The only thing that needs attention is the shower, it was barely a spray of mist, desperately needs replacing.

We had a glorious visit to this charming studio folly. We have no hesitation in recommending it as centre from which to enjoy North Norfolk. Whilst he folly has limited cooking facilities the large number of excellent restaurants, pubs and chippies nearby resolve this issue. Our only slight reservation is that the shower isnt the same high qualityRead more as the rest of the facilities. Hide

One of the most special places weve stayed - the Folly is so unique, well equipped and comfortable and being able to walk out into the estate, down to Holkham Beach or to The Victoria was such a treat.

Lovely studio in the most beautiful surroundings. We had a great stay despite the very hot temperatures. Would recommend taking your own fan as we did. Water would require a filter as very harsh. Shower is a dribble. Bed was comfortable and bench outside was a good addition to have food and drink. WiFi intermittent. Overall great stay.

A fantastic location if you like solitude, set well into the estate among woodland with wildlife in abundance including roe deer, owls, foxes etc. The mile long route in from the gates is through open pasture with herds of fallow deer and flocks of sheep, hares, and in the evening lots of rabbits. Holkham is a wonderful place to stay particularly iRead moref you are into wildlife, especially birding. The wildlife conservation area is close by as is the beach. The Victoria restaurant is easy to get to without coming off the estate where the food is very good. The lodge itself is very cosy and warm once the log burner is lit. (There are two radiators but not quite adequate on there own for us as at the time, february, as the outside temperature was close to freezing) It consists of one very large, comfortable bed sitting room with separate loo and shower room. Plenty of things like tea, coffee, sugar etc plus some very nice Holkham biscuits, both savoury and shortbread. There are dog bowls provided along with some treats in a tin. Hide
