JUST PERFECT!!! We celebrated news years eve at poppy cottage and shared the house with our friends and their children for the week. We found the house to be the perfect size for 4 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs with room to spare. The house was well stocked with pots and pans etc. The location was great for short walks the local pubs and the beach Read moreis only a 5 minute walk away. Easy driving to Cromer, Holt & Sherringham so exploring the east coast is very accessible. If you are staying in, the house is well stocked with board games to play and the open fire just adds to the cosy home feeling in the winter months. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfy, the house has 2 bathrooms with a shower in one and a roll top bath in the other, we didn't struggle with only one shower and everyone used it each morning. Nothing negative to say, everything in the house was great and we would not hesitate to return. Hide

Lovely comfortable house in a wonderful location. So convenient for the shops and the beach and excellent for our dog, he hardly had to be on the lead all the way to beach.

A lovely, spacious house with 4 big bedrooms, each with a king-size bed which was great for the 8 adults in our group. Lots of room in the lounge for my grandson to crawl round and explore and a big dining table that we were all able to sit round in the evening. The house is very well equipped with the expected mod cons. The seating and beds were very comfortable. There were childrens games and books as well as lots of dvds. The wetsuits for the children were a great extra, thank you ! The sandy beach is only a few minutes away via a childrens playground which was great fun as well.

The Poppy House was fantastic. A great location but quite, the kids liked being able to go through the back gate with the dog for a walk on the nearby dog friendly beach. Games and books were really great too as was the garden space. We had a lovely BBQ one evening. I couldn't recommend it more. Would definitely consider a return.

This was a great home from home. In a fantastic location. Generous rooms with great facilities. Rare to rent a home with 4 double bedrooms all with king-size beds. Perfect for an adult family getaway. Local area has lots to do, even off season. Lots of walks and great local quirky shops (recommend the grocer in the village).
