Oyster Cottage blends all modern conveniences with the property's old world charm and was completely redecorated in 2018. It was built in the 17th century by French Huguenots fleeing France in the 1690s from religious persecution. The beams would have been recycled from old boats which was common practice at the time. Oyster Cottage is ideally situated just yards from the seafront and High Street. It provides a wonderful retreat all year round, and has the added benefit of a courtyard garden.
