St Lawrence House is perfect for a family or group of friends, we spent Christmas week at the property and found the house very well equipped for catering the festive season, also tastefully decorated. We like to cook family meals on holiday so were delighted with the wide range of cooking implements, big pans, crockery and cutlery etc as it is not always the case in houses that sleep 9. Big tables inside and outside too. Great.

This large beautiful cottage was perfect for multi- generational families in an excellent location for exploring this part of Norfolk. There are plenty of places to visit within a few miles, and coastal resorts also within easy reach. Harpley is a delightful village with easy walks from the door, but longer walks are readily accessible for the moreRead more adventurous. The Rose and Crown is a two minute walk away and serves good food and a range of beers. We would particularly recommend Sunday Lunch which was excellent. A well stocked shop and post office is to be found in Great Massingham together with a tearoom and also The Dabbling Duck public house which also serves meals. We heartily recommend St Lawrence House! Hide

This house was a spectacular place for a wonderful Christmas, with family and friends. The beds were extremely comfortable, house cosy and warm and it had plenty of room for a large party to break off and find their own spaces. The extraordinary thing about this house and the reason we would very highly recommend it, was that extent to which it wasRead more equipped. The kitchen was set up for cooks, with all the equipment you usually wonder if you have to bring, from sharp knives to cake tins! This attention to detail, extended to crockery, cutlery, glasses and serving bowls inc. a turkey platter, gravy boats and a butter dish. The silent setting was blissful and had lovely walks through the village and was literally doors down was a an excellent pub, where we had a great meal. Hide
