Enjoy a unique holiday at this traditional Welsh cottage on Anglesey. Set in an idyllic location, just 200 yards from the water's edge of the Cymyran Strait, which separates Anglesey from Ynys Cybi (Holy Island). Surrounded by 5 acres of land, this is a truly private location to relax, to stroll down to the sandy beaches and rockpools, or to explore the Wales Coast Path. Should you wish to venture further, Anglesey also has a great range of attractions and activities within a short drive.

The property's brilliantly unique setting is reached over a rugged track and then across the occasionally tidal foreshore. A tide timetable is provided by the owners and if you wish to come and go when the tide is in, there's a short, alternative footpath that leads to a small parking bay along the track.

Please also note that the property is located not far from RAF Valley with some occasional noise and spectacular jets often seen overhead

Ground Floor

Kitchen diner - Well equipped fitted kitchen includes a cooker/hob and microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Family kitchen dining table and chairs.

Lounge - Relax around the inglenook, with a wood burning stove, and comfortable 2 two seater sofas. Smart TV and DVD player. 

Bedroom 1 -  Bedroom with double bed, wardrobes, dressing table, bedside cabinets and lights.

Bedroom 2 - Twin bedroom, also furnished with wardrobe, bedside cabinets and lights.

Bedroom 3 - Small double bed (4') with wardrobe/shelves, bedside cabinet, lights and chair. Please note that there is one step from lounge to reach Bedroom 3. *This bed could sleep two guest but please note that it is 6'' narrower than a standard double.

Sun Lounge - Three piece cottage suite, retro coffee table, antique period chairs, TV and reading lamps. Please note that there 4 steps to reach the Sun Lounge.

Garden

5 acres of land in peaceful surroundings, starting with a small enclosed area immediately outside the cottage. Further expansive lawn areas can be enjoyed, along with views of the ever-changing straits between Anglesey and Holy Island. Table, chairs and parasol and a BBQ set also provided.

the cottage & views are beautiful so quiet with a free airshow from raf valley cant fault the property the guest book says it all quality

We had a lovely time at Plas Bach . Some beautiful scenery and walks available. It is a comfortable , cosy cottage , that is well equipped for your needs . The owners are helpful and kind without interfering with your time there. We were particularly lucky with the weather considering it was February . Two minor issues to consider RAF Valley is neRead morear by, and so the Jets fly by can start at 8- 9 am . This I loved but Im sure not for all. The cottage is cut off by the tide twice a day -so I would recommend you view the Lavers published tidal times prior to booking to ensure you select the weeks that will interfere least with your ability to come and go from the cottage . Overall well worth a visit and experience. We hope to revisit in the future Hide

The cottage, an old farmhouse with direct access to coastpath and the seashore, is a perfect place for perfect holidays and we had a wonderful relaxing time. We can recommend it without any limitation. The equipment is charming and of high qualitity, the landlord and landlady extremely friendly and attentive. We had a problem with our car and they Read moreorganised a workshop appointment AND the transfer for us, which was extremely helpful. The kitchen equipment is rich and the technical devices on high modern standard. We wish Plas Bach and the friendly Landlordfamily many guests and good luck for the future. This is a stunning cottage located in an absolutely beautiful area. We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was so lovely to us from start to finish. We definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.

the cottage was amazing the inside is fantastic everything you need & the views from back garden looking over at the sea & snowdonia are breathtaking & also the jets flying over from RAF valley amazing free airshow its pure heaven no noise no people we will be back again

Plas Bach is a super, comfortable cottage in such a special location. If peace, walks and being close to the sea is what you are looking for, Plas Bach ticks all the boxes. The owners are extremely helpful and approachable and obviously care a great deal about their property to ensure guests have a lovely time. We will certainly hope to return.

The property would benefit from being slightly better equipped in terms of kitchen utensils (slotted spoon for example) Also, whilst there were leaflets, it would have been good to have an info pack, with recommendations

The information on the website was accurate and probably didn't need enlarging, however, we felt that we needed to know more about how the property was heated and a couple of other questions, probably too minor to be considered before booking. The cottage is superbly equipped, in a wonderful location and for guests looking for peace and quiet absoRead morelutely perfect. Fully intend to return at some point in the future as we felt this property was a real find and in a particularly lovely part of the island. Hide
