This traditional fisherman's cottage is situated in a quiet, traffic free cobbled lane in Downalong. The property retains much of its original character and is only a few minutes walk to Porthmeor Beach, Tate St Ives, the harbour and shops. An array of restaurants and bars are close by or you may wish to use your holiday as an excuse to relax and unwind in this well-equipped and elegantly furnished cottage.

Lounge with Smart TV, DVD player and gas-fired stove. Hallway leading to bathroom with shower cubicle, small bath, heated towel rail, wash basin and wc,. Through to kitchen/dining Room with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Door to shared rear courtyard with outdoor furniture. First floor bedroom with 4ft 6in bed. Bedroom with 3ft bed. Bedroom with 3ft bed.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog, £25 per week.

Power and Heat: Electricity and heating included in the rent. Electric heating throughout.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot, highchair and baby bath provided, please bring your own cot linen.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.2 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies.

Cosy cottage but needs gas fire to be fixed and kitchen needs redecoration. Suitable property for family with small children but not 4 adults.

The cottage is lovely in a beautiful location just a stones throw from the shops and beach. Very comfortable & welcoming, we had a fantastic holiday.

We absolutely loved this cottage! Its in a perfect location tucked away on a quiet street but right in the heart of everything. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived. It's just a short walk from the long stay car park, though it's worth noting that the hill Read morebetween the car park and the cottage is very steep, and you cant drive directly up to the house. That said, we didnt mind at all it just took a couple of trips to bring our things in. Everything about our stay was fantastic the cleanliness, the decor, and the peaceful yet central location. We would highly recommend this place and would happily stay again! Hide

Lovely cottage in a great position to enjoy St Ives. There is no parking or access so be prepared to cart you belongings in and out. Once in, the position couldn't be better - 2 mins to shops, 5 mins to 3 beaches. No welcome pack feels a bit tight given the price

Excellent base to stay in St Ives. Has everything needed. Staircase is a bit tricky if you have sight issues but otherwise brilliant. Everything inside is to a high standard. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Corner Cottage is a typical little fisherman's cottage, very cute and all higgledy piggledy with the neighbours. The decor is really nice and it is very comfortable. Personally I would have liked net curtains at the windows as people walk by very close, we had to keep the master bedroom curtains closed!
