This former fisherman's cottage, dating back to the 19th century, is set over four floors and located in the heart of Downalong. It is just a short walk to the shops, restaurants and famous beaches. Retaining some of its original charm the comfortable accommodation benefits from great views.

Entrance: Up 4 steps to Ground Floor: Kitchen/Diner with TV, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Steep steps (may not be suitable for young children or those with restricted movement) to Lower Ground Floor: Bedroom with en suite shower room including wash basin and wc, 2 x 3ft single beds. First Floor: Bedroom with Double bed. Bathroom including wc and shower over bath. Steep stairs to Second Floor: Lounge with velux window and view of the harbour, TV and DVD player.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent; central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Linen and towels and provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Shop: 0.2 ml. Pub: 0.2 ml.

We have stayed at this property before as we enjoyed it the first time around last wintert, it is well positioned with great view over the harbour and within walking distance of shops beaches etc. The only thing I would warn potential visitors of is the steep stairs in the property may not suit some visitors and there is not really anywhere to safeRead morely store wetsuits boards etc. Hide

A lovely house, in a perfect location. The top and bottom flight of stairs are steep, as noted in the description. Young children or the less mobile will need some help. The view from the picture window on the top floor is beautiful and we spent many a happy hour just watching over the harbour or seeing the skies change.

Location, cleanliness, general property were great, property has amazing views from top floor. The stairs may not suit everyone though as they are quite steep. But we enjoyed and would definitely book again.
