Shell Cottage is a lovely, comfortably furnished cottage, with beamed ceilings and wooden floors suitable for holidays all year round. Situated in Downalong, one of the most sought after spots in St Ives, it is moments from both Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches, the harbour, Tate Gallery and the coastal path. Cars can pull up on the opposite side of the road to unload with the Island car park being just two minutes away.

Entrance through stable door into small porch. The cloakroom with WC and wash basin is off the porch offering flexibility and convenience. The comfortable lounge has a Smart 50" TV, 4 seater sofa, armchair and attractive window seat. The stylish, light and bright kitchen/dining area is well-equipped having everything you'll need for your stay, with a dining table, induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and access to a small yard ideal for hanging clothes and drying wetsuits. There is a downstairs inviting, modern bathroom with spacious shower cubicle, wash basin and heated towel rail. Polished, wooden stairs from the kitchen lead to the first floor (stair gates at top and bottom), where there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 4ft 6" bed and the second bedroom has 2 x 2ft 6" beds, both have wardrobe and drawer space.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog, £25 per week.
Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Stairgates provided.
Shop: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

Beautifully presented and very clean, crisp bedding and newly renovated kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Close to shops and harbour front very convenient, had a fabulous week! Great value for money and great location!!

Nice little cottage ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Well equipped kitchen and new shower room. Quite steep steps in property. Toilet separate which is in the farthest point from the bedrooms and has no heating in it. Cottage did have a damp smell whilst we stayed. No welcome tray offered. Booked as a last minute short break over Christmas.

Fantastic location right on the sea front and near to all of the cafes. Lovely big sofa and flat screen TV in the lounge with Netflix. The newly renovated kitchen and bathroom were lovely. The shower was great and powerful. Beautiful fresh cut iris flowers in the kitchen which bloomed during our week stay.

Sweet house right in the middle of St Ives and all the beaches, shops and cafes . Bring ear plugs - the seagulls are noisy! Great for a short break. No freezer though which might be an issue for some .

Its a tiny cottage. Kitchen is very basic. Double room was tiny. Just felt cramped.
