A traditional grade II listed fisherman's cottage in the Downalong area of St Ives which has been tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. Conveniently situated between the harbour and Porthmeor Beach it is within easy reach of the shops, art galleries and restaurants.

5 steps from street to stable door entrance. Ground Floor: Lounge with electric fire, TV, DVD player, Bose CD and Radio and Bose ipod dock. Kitchen/breakfast room with electric oven and electric hob, washer/drier, fridge with ice box, microwave and dishwasher. Shower room including wash basin and wc. First Floor: Bedroom with 4ft 6in bed and wash basin. Bedroom with 3ft bed.

Please note that children and babies are not permitted at this property.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. No children under 15 allowed. Wifi Included. Mobile reception varies. 10 steps up to the entrance, may not be suitable for people with mobility difficulties. Parking for one car in  the Railway Station Car Park approximately 10 minutes walk from the property - note you can drop off and unload by the church close to the property.

Cosy 2 bedroom cottage - one double and one single - in great location. Reserved car parking in station car park is a big advantage as long as don't mind the walk to/from the car park.

41 Back Road West is a delightful cottage, very comfortable, well equipped, nice hot shower, clean and in a perfect location for both the harbour and Porthmeor beach with its fab cafe and the Tate!

The location is awesome, set between Porthmeor and Harbour beaches. You can drop off 10 metres away by the chapel. The cottage was very homely and comfortable with everything you need. The shower was lovely - powerful and with plenty of hot water. Our bed, in the double room, was extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location close to the beaches, galleries, town and even the little corner market. The super comfortable bed was a wonderful surprise, the lounge sofas also very comfy after a day out walking. A real gem!

We so adored this little cottage, For a week it felt like home. So cosy and comfortable, It set the perfect tone. A perfect location, With good food and beer. We loved every moment, We left in good cheer. The parking was a bonus, A little home for our car. We would definitely visit again, From us a 5 Star.

Great cottage in a fabulous location. The only negative would be as others have noted in previous reviews are the stairs, could be a real challenge for some. Despite that definitely worth booking. Car park space at the Station a real bonus too.

I spent a lovely week here in June, the weather was perfect and the cottage location was spot on. A bonus having a parking space at the railway station, this means you can come and go without stressing about finding another parking space when you return. I wouldnt hesitate to book this cottage again.

Spot on in every way! We felt at.home immediately we stepped into the cottage. Really central location, equidistant to everything we wanted to see. The cottage was probably better equipped than my own home! Will most certainly be back. Thank you.

The cottage is in a good location for the beaches and shops. The only downside I would say are the stairs. To not have a bannister on one side is pretty dangerous. I know there is one attached to the wall but there should be one attached to where there once was a wall. These stairs are not shown in the photos of the cottage.

This property should say on its website that bathroom is on ground floor. Front access steps and staircase are steep difficult not suitable for older seniors or disabled. Whilst it is comfortable and well equipped it needs regular maintenance to bring up to standard.
