This delightful, four storey character cottage retains many of its original features and is situated just off the harbour front only a minutes walk to the town and beaches.

The entrance from Church Place leads into the open plan Lounge/kitchen/diner which has a TV,  DAB Radio and electric fire. The modern Kitchen area has Induction Hob, Electric Oven, Fridge with ice box, Washing Machine, compact Dishwasher and Microwave. Stairs lead down to a basement which has an alternative seating area and  Ensuite which is fitted with a shower cubicle, wash basin, wc and heated towel rail. A door takes you via a private, shared lane onto the pretty, cobbled Baileys Lane. On the first floor there is a Twin bedroom with 2 x 3ft beds and a family bathroom with a bath, wash basin, wc and heated towel rail. Steep, narrow stairs lead to the double aspect master bedroom which has a king size bed bed, sea glimpse and Ensuite with porthole window, shower cubicle, wash basin, wc, large heated towel rail and sea views over the rooftops to Porthminster Beach.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

Fantastic cottage. Beautifully decorated and impeccably presented. Spotlessly clean too. Great location and would definitely return as well as recommend to family and friends.

9 Church Place has a perfect location, beautifully clean with excellent kitchen appliances and range of utensils. Bed really comfy with good crisp linen. Top floor walk in shower was fabulous. Stairs to both floors are steep so you just take your time and dont rush.

This property is great value for money, in an excellent location, has everything you need for a relaxing stay and by far the best in the 20 years I've stayed in St Ives.

Booked Chain locker as we were staying as two couples and felt that the central location and three bathrooms would suit us all. It didn't disappoint. Overall I think a nice property with a well equipped and clean kitchen although we ate out or had takeaway all week, we would have happily of cooked in it . Everything was very clean and there was numRead moreerous things in place to get us started on our holiday such as toilet rolls, hand soaps etc. Oh and my Son and partner made use of the mini surf board in the downstairs cupboard. Very thoughtful! We would book again if coming to St Ives, thank you. The sea views from the ensuite at the top are wonderful! Hide

Chain Locker is one of our favourite cottages being situated ideally in the heart of St Ives and its fantastic shops, restaurants and beach. The cottage is extremely well kitted out with everything you need. Beds are comfy with lovely crisp sheets and towels. We will be back next year for our 5th visit!

Lovely quality accommodation in great condition. Location is super for beaches, walks, shops and restaurants etc. This was a return visit and we would go again! Nice views from the top floor!
