This delightful little cottage is set back from the road in a pedestrian courtyard, in the heart of Downalong. It is only a few metres from the harbour yet close to the beautiful Porthmeor beach. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable retaining much of its original character.

Ground Floor: Entrance from courtyard through entrance porch to Lounge/Dining room. Beamed ceiling, original wide polished floorboards. Remote controlled gas fire Smart TV with access to Netflix and 2 seat sofa. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave. First floor: Bedroom with 4ft 6ins bed. Bedroom with 3ft bed. Bathroom with large walk in shower, wc, wash basin and heated towel rail.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog, £25 per week.

Beach: 0.1 ml. Pub: 0.1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. WiFi provided. Mobile phone reception varies. Large parking space for 1 car in a private parking area located at the end of Burrow Road.

Very sadly we were disappointed with the Cot. There was no plug for the upstairs bathroom and the shower was so hot it was uncomfortable and needs repairing. If you were looking for a self catering experience you would struggle to prepare food due to space. However it was warm and cosy . We paid 1.1k for New Year week and there was no way this accoRead moremmodation justified that cost. Hide

Had an amazing time, the cottage was in a perfect location. It was very cosy, very comfortable, couldnt ask for more.

This property has great potential that isn't being used. The bathroom needs fixing, the double room would benefit from a small chest of drawers. There are innovative ways of making a tiny home super. Living space and beds are extremely comfy tho

Very small with limited equipment and wardrobe or drawer space. Requires deep clean and refreshing. Good location and acceptable for sleeping but not very cosy for staying indoors on a wet day.
