Up In The Ayr is a bijou apartment on the first floor of a converted house and is a perfect compact base to explore the beautiful coastal walks, beaches and restaurants in and around the town.

Up one flight of stairs from the communal hall you enter into the kitchen/lounge/diner with a TV, DVD player and sea views. The bespoke kitchen area has an induction hob, electric oven, fridge with ice box and a microwave. The bedroom has a 4ft 6in bed and a TV/DVD player with the en-suite comprising of a shower, wc, hand basin and a heated towel rail. At the rear of the property is a parking space and a convenient 'lock-up' (Number 3) where you can store surf boards, beach kit or even bikes.

Power and Heat: Electricity included in the rent. Central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: None provided.
Shop: 0.2 ml. Pub: 0.5 ml.

NOTES: No smoking. No pets. WiFi available. Parking for 2 cars to the rear of the property (in-line, space 9m by 2m).

A lovely apartment in a great location, very clean with all that you needed. Parking was a great bonus.

The property was well situated for the town and was well equipped. The interior is much smaller than assumed by the pictures. The bed and sofa were not very comfortable. There is not much storage space for luggage or food. Parking is good at the back of the property and very useful. The sea views were nice.

The location is great to arrive by car since it's on top of a hill. The parking space is easy to park on with a small car (maybe less so with a van or SUV). It's about a 15 minute walk downhill to the St.Ives Harbour, it takes a bit longer uphill. The apartment is very cute and beautifully decorated. Ideal for one/two people. Good WiFi and smart tv. It was warm on arrival and heating very good, we were never cold.

The property was as described; it proved comfortable enough and practical for me as I was staying for 3 days alone. Other than the lack of wifi and a hairdryer, it was well equipped; easy to access and a convenient location (tho that hill up from the beach is a challenge :-)) I enjoyed my stay in St Ives. I was holidaying alone and enjoyed this stylish and cosy space in a quiet location. Bit of a steep hill and stairs to climb so probably better for more mobile visitors.
