Explore the coastal paths along this stunning coastline, popular with families, walkers, and water sport enthusiasts with sailing at neighbouring Brancaster Staithe. For the slightly more adventurous water sport enthusiasts will appreciate this part of the coast with wind and kite surfing to be enjoyed or kayaking in many of the Creakes. Little ones love exploring the sand dunes of Old Hunstanton with soft sandy beaches and pretty beach huts too. A firm favourite with families is Wells-next-the-Sea, enjoy a spot of crabbing on the quay or follow the path to the harbour mouth with vast sandy beaches; enthusiastic walkers can follow the beach around to Holkham where the beach meets the stunning backdrop of woodland. The café is a great spot for a rest after a long beach walk; perfect for blowing the cobwebs away.
Enjoy shopping in the popular nearby village of Burnham Market; with an array of boutique shops to explore, a delicatessen, butchers and bakers all surrounding the Village Green. For a special treat visit the Hoste Arms for supper or visit their spa for a relaxing treatment or two, this village has something for everyone. There are many great eating places at nearby villages and well known pubs including The Jolly Sailors, The Ship and The White Horse Inn all serve great food. Alternatively pick up the catch of the day at the local fish shop in Brancaster Staithe, fresh from the harbour or visit nearby Drove Orchards at Holme-next-the-Sea with seasonal fruit and veg available. There are numerous opportunities for bird watchers with the RSPB reserve at Titchwell, just two miles away, which can be reached on foot along the coastal path. For a special day out take a trip to Blakeney Point and see the grey seal colony with year round boat trips available, a sight not to be missed.
