To the other side of the first floor, the kitchen is modern and efficient. Although cosy, you’ll find a washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven and plenty of utensils for cooking up a storm.

Upstairs, too, the thoughtfulness doesn’t stop. The master bedroom is instantly welcoming – with two cleverly designed built-in wardrobe’s and vanity area it is an ideal place to lay your head after days spent exploring the area. The twin room comes complete with a wall mounted TV – ideal for entertaining children.

The surrounding countryside is just waiting to be explored. With both a pub and café – Sweffling offers a step-back-in-time village atmosphere, whilst the market town of Framlingham and the coastal town of Aldeburgh are only a short drive by car (or pleasant cycle ride). Sweffling is a small Suffolk village nestled neatly between Framlingham and Saxmundham. Complete with village pub and church it is utterly quaint and picturesque. Surrounded by rolling countryside, it is known for its' agricultural links in the area. The 'hut' acts as the village hall and was once an Army Sergeant's Mess Hall from World War I and was moved from Saxmundham to Sweffling after the conflicts had ceased. The village has access to a fantastic network of footpaths - whilst also being within a good driving distance of Suffolk's prettiest market towns and local attractions.

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful, quiet village. The location is great for exploring all that Suffolk has to offer - castles, beaches and plenty of pubs all within a half an hour drive. The cottage itself is small but perfectly formed. It worked well do us as two adults and two children (6 and 8), we were our most of the day but it was nice to Read morecome back to comfy beds and a cute little living room. We particularly appreciated the friendly neighbour who gave us fresh eggs a few times! Hide

The cottage is cosy, beds are comfy, heating is efficient. There are some issues which require attention to make it better, especially with regard to the appliances.

Generally a comfortable and well equipped cottage in lovely rural location, perfect for scenic walks but necessary to drive for all essentials. Lovely cafe and pub in nearby Rendham.
