On entering the property you’re immediately drawn to the large open plan sitting/kitchen/dining room area. Cleverly designed to make the most of the space, the large bay windows lets the natural light flood in and give spectacular views over St Edmunds Green and beyond. Furnished and fitted with a modern, contemporary feel Pilgrim’s greys and whites keeping it clean and fresh. The newly fitted kitchen offers guests a full range of equipment and facilities to make the most of your self-catered stay with the addition of a dining table and seating.

Through into the rear of the apartment you find the two bedrooms both furnished to a very high standard with ample storage for belongings. The master bedroom has the bonus of a luxury ensuite with large shower cubicle.

The property offers a communal garden area, shared with the two apartments above and below. A lovely quiet space with seating and flower beds. Shops: 250 yards. Pub: 250 yards.

Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocer with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

Pilgrims was a lovely flat and we had a wonderful time there. Dry central, well equips and very comfy. We will be back.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet area of Southwold, close to everywhere we needed. It was well equipped and comfortable with a fantastic outlook onto the cathedral.

A lovely size property close to Southwold's facilities. Spacious, welcoming, bed linen spotless. Small points but have been mentioned previously by other guests; 1 tea towel is not enough. No dishwasher tablets available, had to be bought.
