If you’re looking for a traditional and beautiful Yorkshire cottage then look no further than Plum Tree Cottage. Full of character and love, this three bedroom stone-built cottage is located in the village of Crayke in the Vale of York, just two miles from Easingwold. On the cusp of the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is a delightful location for exploring the picturesque countryside and is perfect for walkers and cyclists alike. Just 200 yards from the cottage you will find the award winning Durham Ox country pub which serves delicious food made using local produce. The Durham Ox won pub of the year at The White Rose Awards. The city of York is only 14 miles away, where you can enjoy some lunch or afternoon tea at the famous Bettys Tea Rooms during a day of sightseeing and shopping. The market town of Helmsley is just 13 miles away with traditional pubs, boutique shops and cafes as well as its medieval castle, National Centre for Birds of Prey and Duncombe Park. Plus the historic sights of Appleforth Abbey, Rievaulx Abbey and Byland Abbey are all close by and definitely worth a visit.

Lovely cottage , good location , the local pub served beautiful food . Plenty of walks in the area , or just relax in the huge back garden which is all enclosed and a sun trap . If you have a dog the open space is such a bonus for your dog/dogs .
