Perfect for a romantic break away on the beautiful Yorkshire Coast, Seascape Cottage is a delightful one bedroom cottage set all on one level, within the spacious grounds of Silkstone Hall in the village of Hinderwell. Close to the village pub and the coast, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring all of the surrounding coastal resorts and the North York Moors. This is a great base for those that love walking and cycling, and the cottage is pet friendly too.

Furnished to a high standard, the open plan living area with its wood burning stove, is a lovely room to relax in after a busy day out and about. The large patio area provides the ideal spot for enjoying an al fresco evening meal and the cosy double bedroom is a comfortable and welcoming retreat at the end of the day. If there are a few of you holidaying together, Seascape Cottage can be booked together with WA067 Landscape Cottage next door which also sleeps two.

A lovely, comfortable cottage with a fantastic view of gardens and countryside in an ideal location for exploring the area. Few minutes walk to bus stop so left the car behind. Hosts were extremely thoughtful. Hope to return.

We loved our stay. The property had everything we needed, it was cosy, welcoming and well equipped. The hosts provided a fantastic welcome pack which we were grateful for, and were available for suggestions about the local area. We can see why this property has had so many return visitors.

David and Laura could not have made us feel more welcome. ideal location for dog walks on nearby beaches, close to Whitby & Robin Hoods Bay. We have booked a return visit.

They say good things come in small packages, and thats so true of this cottage. On arrival, we were met with a spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas cottage. This is a lovely , well equipped cosy cottage with a fabulous welcome pack. The owners were so helpful especially when we got snowed in on our last morning and they very kindly offered that we could stay until it had cleared.

Loved the cottage.Very clean and comfortable.Nice and quiet location.Plenty of room for our dogs to run around. A lovely box of goodies left for us, much appreciated. The owners were kind and sociable, nothing to much trouble. All in all a really nice place and would recommend.

We went to chill for a few days the directions were perfect. The cottage itself was great everything you needed was there. Was most amazing was all the finishing touches. A little hamper made up of goodies. A lovely scone and jam to have with a lovely cup of tea and fresh milk and a lovely bottle of prosecco cooling in the fridge. We took our dog aRead morend everything was there including towels to use and some snacks for him. The area outside the cottage was brilliant to let our dog explore even a torch was provided to use at night time. All in all a lovely place and the hosts were lovely and friendly it was a pleasure to use their cottage and would use it again with big recommendations thank you. Hide

Seascape was perfect in every way. Property was clean and tastefully furnished. We were warm and cosy in Seascape as storm Isha and Jocelyn passed through!! Even our dogs were remembered in the welcome pack with a packet of dog treats. David's information about walks in the area was invaluable, although I think he was disappointed I wasn't using Read morea compass to navigate but my OS app on my phone!! Hide

The cottage was perfect for us. The location was great for both rural and coastal walks and close to other towns to visit. The owners had really thought of everything that may be needed. This is a lovely cottage in a very good location for exploring the coastal villages. The owners are great and very motivated to ensure you have a good holiday experience.

A delightful property in the grounds of a private house. The cottage is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Laura and her family were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Seascape Cottage to anyone wishing to visit the North Yorkshire coast.
