Landscape Cottage is a beautiful one bedroom cottage set all on one level, within the spacious grounds of Silkstone Hall in Hinderwell on the Yorkshire Coast. Just a mile from the beautiful seaside village of Runswick Bay and only a short drive to the many other surrounding coastal resorts like Staithes, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Whitby.

The cottage itself has been furnished to a high standard and features a spacious open plan living area, offering modern appliances mixed with lovely unique and traditional features such as a wood burning stove and exposed brickwork. The luxurious and comfortably furnished double bedroom is the ideal place to rest after a busy day and there is a large shared garden with patio area for barbequing in the nice weather. Close to the pub and the coast, this cottage is the perfect base for a romantic break away and for exploring the area; with many picturesque walks nearby along the Cleveland Way National Trail. If there are a few of you holidaying together, Landscape Cottage can be booked together with WA068 Seascape Cottage next door which also sleeps two.

En suite: Shower, washbasin, toilet.
Laundry: Washer dryer, freezer.

Pets: Pets are free of charge - Two medium size dogs are welcome.
Parking: Private off-road parking near the property.

Heating: Central heating, wood burning stove.
Short breaks: Accepted all year round.

This cottage and it's next door cottage are simply lovely. They sit in expansive lawns and gardens where it's lovely to relax with no traffic to worry about when letting the dogs free to explore. Two pubs close by in the village(good beer and food ) and a fish shop. Brilliant walks including The Cleveland Way on the doorstep, no car required. A fabulous cottage, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. The hosts left a generous welcome pack, made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived, and told us where we could get extra towels, toilet rolls etc. The cottage is really peaceful, yet the location is in easy walking distance of Runswick Bay and other places.

What a gem! We absolutely loved our stay at Landscape Cottage. It was immaculate with quality fixtures and fittings. It was so relaxing staying in such a dog friendly cottage, with bowls, treats and a throw for the sofa provided. Fabulous welcome pack and really generous and friendly hosts. We hope to return soon.

A wonderful little cottage, so well equipped & extremely clean. Perfectly situated to explore this fabulous coastal area. Ideal for dog owners - even a sink & warm tap/ hose to wash down a muddy pooch! Will definitely return.

The cottage was very clean, comfortable and cosy. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. We had a lovely stay over the Christmas period. The welcome pack left for us by the owner was superb and very welcome.

Would highly recommend this cottage , perfect hosts and everything needed was provided . The grounds are just great for your dogs to run safely . We had such a wonderful stay .

Landscape Cottage is a little gem. I was greeted by Laura and a basket of treats for me and the dog. Plus bread, milk and wine. Its in a very lovely place, just right to get away, rest and relax. Easy access to beaches, places of interest and Whitby. A folder with lots of information on the area, places of interest, buses. I hope to be able to Read morevisit the area again and stay at the cottage. Hide

Very comfortable, very clean, well-appointed cottage, close to the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. Perfect for a stay at any time of the year. It was lovely and warm even without the log burner.

We loved this property, ideal location for exploring the east coast. The property owners Laura and David are a lovely couple, and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise, they even included treats for our dogs. And left homemade Rocky Road what a treat. Will use this property again. Highly recommended

The property is beautifully furnished, well equipped, spotlessly clean all down to the owners Laura and David who are perfect hosts. Monty, my dog was more than satisfied with the ample open aspect and was even catered for in the generous welcome pack. In summary, a lovely holiday.

Lovely cottage in beautiful setting. A short distance from the Cleveland Way and stunning walks. Everything you could expect was in the cottage and more besides.
