We had a wonderful week here to celebrate our parents 65th wedding anniversary- the view and location blew us away and entertained my parents all week ! Kitchen is brilliantly equipped, the whole place just feels very homely and comfortable and the additional workshop space area was ideal for storing wheelchairs etc. I swam twice a day only 50m away from the doorstep to the harbour at high tide. Sent to sleep and woken up everyday by the hypnotic sounds of the waves - we will definitely be back ! Hide

We had a wonderful 5 day Christmas break in Mousehole. Travelling with 3 grandparents over 85, a dog and my family of 4 adults. Very old and quirky cottage in an excellent location close to South Quay car park. Best suited for families, as opposed to a group of friends. As an old property the general facilities particularly bathroom, toilet and shower room are dated and require some attention. The heating via electric heaters in all rooms, but one bedroom, worked well. BeinRead moreg so close to water, need to be aware of damp. Hide

We loved this place. The house is 300-400 years old and has all the character youd expect from that kind of life. The downstairs living room is light and airy, and the views out the window are hard to pull your eyes from. The upstairs front bedrooms have even better views. There are original paintings in every room. Built around a small courtyRead moreard, there are two wings dedicated to sleeping, connected by a rich and interesting library in which theres also a tv, and a baby grand piano. I thought I might struggle with the aga as Im a gas cooker girl but it was a dream - especially comforting when swimming was a bit chilly. The kitchen is very well equipped. We spent a happy happy week and would love to come back. Hide

The house is amazing! Location is fabulous, and the weather was kind to us. The downstairs shower was great, as was the separate shower near the far bedroom. However the shower over the bath in the family bathroom wouldnt work.

We were an extended family group ranging from a baby bump to an 84 year old and the property was perfect for everyone. We loved the spacious sitting room/diner and the spectacular views. We mastered using the Aga without too much trouble. We loved the vast utility area and having two fridge freezers. The library was excellent.

An extensive well appointed property in a superb location which is ideal for an extended family group or a large party. We were all amazed as to how big the property was on the inside yet was quaint from the outside. All our party said they would have no hesitation booking this property again if staying in Mousehole.
